I liked small things like these quite a bit! It isn't my favourite claire keegan but it was a good quick read. I'm glad you could like it so much. I need to watch the film myself as well. I love long way down and I found it a very effective novel in verse. I also really like the illustrations in there. Jason Reynolds is a very wise author and I like what he does for children's fiction. Yay for finishing a series! I finished the brown sisters trilogy last year as well. I also really loved it and gave it five stars. The characters are so good and the couple together are absolutely adorable. I loved everything about it. I enjoyed mistborn! That reminds me I should continue on with the rest of the series. Hope you enjoy your new books as well x

Thank you for such a lovely comment 🥰 Ooh I didn't see any illustrations in long way down as I listened to it. Didn't know he did children's books too - I'll have to see if our library has them. Eve Brown was my fave, she was just so lovely. Chloe also gave me a whole new understanding of fibromyalgia as well. Hope your reading year has been off to a good start x

I’m so glad you and Aaron are enjoying the Boudicca series, it’s so nice when you can get into a series of books and especially with a friend! I have a copy of The Gustav Sonata and now I think I might just unhaul it as you didn’t love it!

It's not a bad book, but I thought it was just fine, and it's very downbeat. I think unhauling sounds like a good plan! Yes definitely, it's been great doing it as a buddy read.

So pleased you enjoyed Small Things Like These. I’d be interested to hear what you think of the film. I also have Long Way Down on my TBR so it’s great to hear your thoughts on that too.

Thank you 😊 I haven't managed to see the film yet, so I suspect I'll have to wait for it on streaming. Think you'll like Long Way Down.

Gem & Jack are reading Eragon for FOMO in May I think so you can always join us if you like. I haven’t read any Brandon Sanderson either so might try him next year too. His books always sound good. Great video as always ❤

Next you need to read Foster by Claire Keegan, and then watch the beautiful film!

I am very much up for that and didn't realise there's a film of foster!

I enjoyed a few of the Eragon books. I think the author was super young when he wrote them.

Didn't know that. My dad absolutely loved them!
