I think that a book club would be a good idea for the channel, like every month we read a book and discuss it, maybe on insta?? idk, would be fun!

Loved the video!! I recently got back into reading (in 2021) and I'm still figuring out the type of books I like now versus the ones I liked when I was younger! So love the recomendations!!

I would actually really love an end of year recap as well as the quarterly ones! Just as more of a 1-50 best-worst type of thing. Not sure if that’s silly but I’m a very organised person and I like lists for everything so I feel like that would help me 😇

omg felt so relieved when you mentioned such a fun age lol. i didn’t enjoy it either and actually only gave it 1 star. it was really disappointing since all the reviews i’ve previously seen are really high! but it just wasn’t for me

Love this! One suggestion for this video would be to leave the book title on screen for the whole duration you're talking about each book; I would personally find that helpful to follow along during the video xx

Love these reading videos Rachel!! I’m on book 19 out of 52 (my goal) for the year. I also listened to Then She Was Gone on Libby and The Silent Patient is on my TBR! I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and omg it was incredible, best non-fantasy book I’ve ever read! I’ve never fully cried my eyes out while reading a book but this did it for me 😂 Highly highly recommend!!

The guest list is definitely the best book I read in 2020! The way it was written was so different and could not put it down 😍
@julianavaz80003 жыл бұрын
I haven’t read The Guest List, but while you were explaining the set up, i was reminded of a book bu Agatha Christie called And Then There Were None, which is really really good. Would recommend if you are still interested in reading like mystery crime sort of like books.

I completely agree with Such a Fun Age. I felt like it was sort of just going nowhere and only got really interesting in the last couple chapters...
@clairesutton65593 жыл бұрын
Personally, I enjoyed the book a little bit more than the movie! It's interesting you say "tell me why you enjoyed it" and to be honest I don't know what it was about the book that I did love.. I just got towards the end and couldn't put it down! This book would be one of my top recommendations so it's super interesting and it just simply comes down to personal taste! x love this recent reads segment so much!

So true that loving the tv series/movie is completely different. I loved the book Midnight Texas for a paranormal series. Just started the TV series today, fun but, very different to the books and really not as good

I loved this!! I’m definitely going to try the silent patient! I really recommend reading The Hating Game by Sally Thorne if you haven’t already, it’s a witty romance that made me laugh so much but it’s not a cheesy, meaning to be funny book if you get me? Because I’m not into books that are trying to be funny either because it just comes across as cringy aha.

little fires everywhere was required reading for me this year so it’s rlly interesting seeing people rave about the book when I can’t really say I loved it but that’s probably because I literally spent months analysing it and rereading it and stressing about it and hating it lmao so I can’t really view it like i would any other book

yayy i already have my massive tbr but is that going to stop me from watching this video and adding more books in my wishlist on book depository? no 😂❤ btw celest 'ng' is the surname for the author! i don't know how to write out the pronunciation haha but it's not a shortened version of a longer potential middle / last name if it makes sense and helps :))
