Great score on "I'm The Man" ! I recently picked up "Smokin' OP's" not long ago, I used to enjoy that album back in the late 70's. Wow !! Your UFO record is an excellent buy ! I'm on a America kick, lately.. The new vids on KZbin from a 1973 concert are fantastic ! I have a great UK copy of Brain Salad Surgery that I got in my British haul 6 mos. ago. Your The Vapors copy is in great shape ! Congrats on "Singles" I will have a look right now, online.. See you, Mike.. Enjoy !

@@jtsrecordroom3963 Love that Singles vinyl. Way back when it came out I only had heard of Pearl Jam and bought the CD just for those new tracks that were on it. Little did I know that I was going to discover what would become some of my favorite bands. I really need to find some of that early Bob Seger music. Both you and Mark have been picking it up lately but I either can't find a good enough copy or someone beats me to them.

Right.. I have Mongrel and Smokin' OP's. I'm still waiting to find a copy of Bob Seger System. ( Saintly woman in blue on the cover )🔥

Some amazing finds there for $3...cannot beat those deals. Dire Straits, Elvis Costello, ELP etc etc all for $3 ? Outstanding!

@@yourvicarofvinylvov2013 And the best thing was that I wasn't expecting all those boxes for $3. It was a very nice surprise along with the immaculate condition of the $10 ones.

@@richards5280 The Elton John album was just before he found his signature early sound so it's a bit different than what most are used to, but I like it. Mogwai rules!

Some great buys Mike. I’m going to have to check out buying on Marketplace, maybe in the new year. Beautiful copy of Blue Sky. Cheers.

Hi Mike, we found a lot of the same albums lately with the Inxs and the Vapors. Quite the haul. Very good John Hiatt. I remember that Singles CD, it had a lot of great songs

Steve Carlson sent me a bunch of Joe Jackson albums, and they're fantastic. I'd been missing out on this artist for many years. That's a great INXS title. That's one of Elton John's best-kept secrets. I really love that album, especially "Skyline Pigeon." It's a beautiful song. The Singles soundtrack is pretty cool, too. 👍
@TCatsDeepVinylTraxx27 күн бұрын
@@mad4vinyl802 Skyline Pigeon is my favorite song by him, both that album version and the one that he did a few years later, I believe it was for a movie. Both versions are great. I've been wanting that Singles soundtrack on vinyl for a long time. It is the album that opened up a new world of music to me when it came out. The only band I knew when it was released was Pearl Jam and I bought it because there were two new songs from them. I ended up loving the entire album.

@@RandyforRoyals Carolyn Mas is not bad if you like heartland style music like Springsteen, but it is a bit on the poppy side. But I will end up keeping that one around. A lot of glaring holes were filled on that bunch of finds.

The Vapors LP was surely worth $10 - but not so much the Cars - all of their LPS are very common in my part of the States... Couldn't understand who you said the LP @12:30 was by - are you saying "Mog White"? Never heard of that one but since you said it was one of those "post-rock" records I wouldn't know it anyway. One of my collecting pet peeves are albums with absolutely no name of the artist or no info on them! Maybe there once was an info sticker on the shrink...

@@billstill1794 The band is Mogwai. That Cars album is not quite as available around here and they are wore out when they are. I know in the States I used to find them everywhere.
