The Crown Tower is just the epitome of a comfort read for me, haha. I think the rest of the Chronicles is even more fun though! And I am so excited for The Silverblood Promise after your review, sounds like a fun romp 🤩

I loved The Secret Garden movie growing up! It was on TV all the time in Brazil. First movie I ever watched with Maggie Smith. I also loved The Little Princess. I bought both books in special editions, but I've never read them ahahha I'm scared to ruin them.

I always love your wrap ups 😆. I right there with you on Riyria. It’s ok, but not as good as Legends of the First Empire. I still need to pick up the Rise and Fall. Don’t hear too many people talking about it.

Novellas can be really hit or miss and they need to be standout for me to be able to like them. And sometimes it can be nice to read an entertaining fantasy book and not take a book too seriously. I was curious about lost ark dreaming but it might not be one for me after all...

Yeah same! Ring Shout and The Chosen & The Beautiful have so far been the only novellas I have read that were standout 5 star reads for me.

I just started Lost Ark Dreaming last night 😭 I’m hoping I like it, but I feel like our dislikes often align. I did feel like the writing style felt off but maybe it’s because this is sci fi like you said
