After the initial set up, if it is away from the range of base router wifi, can it still perform its basic function and record on SD card, so later on one can review them, using that SD card? without the real-time view or notification? I need this for using it in the car as some nasty neighbors are constantly working hard to do vandalization on my cars! (Range of parking distance is larger than WiFi range of house).

Hi Dave, I got two of these cameras to try to know if people are outside but I can't figure out how to have it show on my phone and my wife's phone . I am not a tech person so I know it is probably just me. I tried to load the camera to my wife's phone but then it lost my connection. The share function is not that simple. Have you ever tried to do that? They have a quick little video of it but it is fast and small. I can't tell what buttons are being hit. Sent something to the company asking for step by step instructions if possible. Am I wrong understanding that we can share the cameras to see who is breaking in? Says 130 degree angle... I would say it is not that wide but it does have a wife FOV... battery life fluctuates depending on motion sensitivity and record settings! 1-3 months before recharging :)

The Amazon rating can be artificially inflated but usually can still be a good indication if there are thousands of reviews (most companies cannot buy that many ha)... honestly very hard to tell any difference. Most of these products and cameras come from the exact same manufacture and then these brands just repackage them! I also reviewed that HeimVision HMD2 that was literally the same design/form factor as the Adorbee.. the Cooau has a more unique design so not sure if that is now the newer/next version. I'd recommend whatever one is cheapest! If price is identical I'd say HeimVision first (best brand), then Cooau (I like the design better), them Adorbee.

I have something which 'looks' identical and I took it back because it simply hangs off a nail in the wall which is neither secure nor lends itself to aiming the camera on an angle.

I brought this yesterday and for some reason it won't charge up. Am I doing something wrong? Put cable in back of camera and left it over night and it still didn't charge. I read in manual that you can take back cover off and put in new batteries in. How do you take back cover off? Apart from that..it's a wonderful camera!! PS Would it be possible to show a video of how to take the battery case off so I can change the batteries. Also when charging, do I take batteries out or leave them in and do you turn camera on or off when charging?

Hi Rupert! Thanks for being a subscriber we really appreciate that! Not sure what is going on with your charging... maybe your USB plug is too powerful. Got a way to try charging it up from a computer or older charger? It should have rechargeable batteries that won't need to be replaced. Hopefully by that time you will have already upgraded to a different camera in the future! I don't know off the top of my head how to do it as I have not attempted it yet. I will keep that in mind though for future content!
