Upgraded from an older 18v kit. kzbin.infoUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

If You want to repair that battery pack, replace ALL the cells with high drain cells (with 20/30 A), don't use the cells from laptop batteries, they have 3/5 A (too little). Greetings from Italy!

Idk why everyone is commenting bad shit about this, it’s a great restoration and it’s just a tool god damn it. If it breaks he’ll fix it again or buy a new one. It’s not that hard. It’s not like a part from NASA.

You are an absolute artist. You use the finest tools and you recreate beautiful parts on your milling machine. You are willing to go the extra little bit to take a 90 % restored item to it's perfect 100% and more. TySy Tube is an example of someone with a little skill but not much pride. He has copied your Channel in so many ways but he uses cheap substitutions. He does not use a milling machine to polish. Instead he uses a power drill. What you do when you restore paintable items is an example. The watch makes measuring tool that you restored, you filled in the rough metal blemishes before you primed and painted the base. The black finish was beautiful. TySy paints the metal in it's rough form. The details are important and if you look for his restoration of a "GIGANTIC Lighter "you will see what I mean. Also he restored a vintage coffee grinder which I believe you would have made it appear more beautiful than he ever could have. I notice that TySy sent you an item to restore and you made it look beautiful!! I think it was too hard for him and he sent it to you to try to have you fail at its restoration. That's enough of me going on and on. I appreciate your skill and artistry. May you and your loved ones be safe in these Covid-19 times.

In regards to the battery pack, do NOT use that one cell!! Each LiON battery is good for only so many charge cycles. You stick that old one in with all new ones and the battery pack will fail soon! Its actually cheaper just to buy a new battery pack than to replace the individual cells. A new replacement batt (off brand as Makita doesn't make these batteries anymore) will run you about $50+ shipping. Eight 3.7v 18650's (judging by the wrapper those are Sony VTC3-4) will run you about $72 bucks ($9 x 8). Just buy a replacement battery and stay safe!
