I'm impressed with how well this came out. It seemed like you were 'eyeballing' a lot of the hand drilling and cutting, and yet with quite a lot of eventual precision in the result.

How do you not have more content. This is gold. If you released one video like this a month and slowly got better at video work you’d make a killing. Do the smallest mill, smallest blasting cabinet, smallest hydraulic press, smallest magnetic chuck, smallest grinder, smallest belt sander, smallest planer, and the smallest lathe. Then when you get super popular people will start wanting to buy them and you can make tooling to mass produce them. lol

People might think it is not practical or useless but for people who make DIY PCBs for school or projects like me, this mini drill press is great tool for drilling holes for through-hole components.
@prettynitty01318 ай бұрын
This press has worked like a charm for my projects kzbin.infoUgkxajoEbapTfqWaadnqb04h6U576yxXp-FE . I didn't even secure it to my table top, mainly due to the fact that I was using a 15 lbs drill vise. It's not flimsy at all as to what others have claimed it to be. Make sure the locking nuts and levers are secured and there won't be any issues with light pressure and patience. I was able to drill through aluminum, plastic, and steel (steel took a while) with no problems at all. Yeah it took a little longer than a regular drill press, but I don't have the space OR the money for one.The instruction manual was worthless, but luckily assembling the press was intuitive. However, the manual would be good for ordering replacement parts if needed. There is a nice breakdown of the parts that are included in the kit. Before ordering, make sure it is compatible with your unit, it is clearly stated what models the press is compatible with.This was an excellent purchase for $40!!

Please make more "mini tools" like sanders, planers, thicknessers, jigsaws, angle grinder ( this would be so useful for getting into small spaces ), mini pipe benders for really small metal tubes, mini bench saw, mini multi angle compound mitre saw ( this would be very hard to accomplish), mini sheet metal bender/press ( for bending really tiny metal boxes, mini metal roller for making straight metal in to curves and circles ( don't know if this is even possible but I'm gonna challenge you for this one !). Anything you could figure out how to make in miniature would be amazing and I know a lot of model making hobbiests would love to see them. Great video which is why I got so enthusiastic about the miniature range and why subscribed. Please keep it up.
@Hellsong89 Жыл бұрын
One can do 1/12 scale knifes, hand planers, saws and axes that are from right materials and actually cut wood. Metal cutting/grinding tools are bit more harder to make and power tools you run into issues with size of the motor and bearings. Thats is about what limits the size, so its actually in scale. I have couple dozen such working models made, but havent delved into power tools for mentioned reason of motor size.

Holy COW! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TALENT/SKILLS! I’m disabled., I try and make smart devices with ESP32 and 8266 mini boards. (U can look them up on KZbin). I take them a few steps further to actually “”assist” me as it’s hard to do many things. So generation 3 I call it. I don’t video. I just try and automate more of my tasks. With that, I have to make the case to pit it in. Waterproof for outside items. I have a Dremel type tool (cheaper brand of course) I use. The case is plastic, wood, thin metal, plexiglass (not as thick as you drilled). My hands are not steady. Hard to drill straight holes in small size parts. Please let me pay you to make me a mini drill….. it would be soooo useful. If it is easier to make… it could be 1/3 to 1/2 bigger in size. Did you make the drill bit? I use 1mm , to 10mm diameter /very short screws mostly. Sometimes I have to use eyeglasses screws sizes. If you built drill press, where can I buy mini bits to pre drill holes? I check (China).. If accepted, leave msg here. I’ll give you my email address then. We go from there. (I cannot afford a 3d printer to make my cases.) If not, I humbly understand. By the way. I am tied into tech “world”. U need backup channel to have all videos (copied to) and refer to subscribers of backup channel ASAP. I have no ties to any, but I know internet/tech world. There is a 1yr old site growing good, Adding more capability daily and got huge $ infusion to grow. They may copy ur current videos over/ save you upload of old videos there. WebSite is called (rumble). I know a lot of changes coming to internet. As well as sites to not continue for specific reasons. I LOVE BLOGGER VIDEOS LIKE YOURS. IT IS PLEASE CREATE backup site somewhere and SOON. (THIS WEEK NOT TO SOON). GOD BLESS! I HOPE WE CAN DO BUSINESS (DRILL PRESS). THX. ALTON

Ну если что, сверлу такого диаметра это даже мало оборотов. На в скидку сверло где-то 0,5 или 0,8мм и ему смело можно давать до 30.000об/м. Так что тут регулятор не к чему...

This would be a fantastic addition to my modelmaking tools - not really necessary as I have hand drills in various shapes and sizes, but just the sheer kudos of showing one off to my friends and saying "Yeah, I just made it a few weeks ago after watching a KZbin video and thought it might come in usefull" would leave them speechless as there is one guy who just buys every conceivable tool out there. I am just going to have to try and make one of these ! Now where are my tools....
