As the output voltage is not regulated, the Multimeter is likely to get damaged when switched on at a higher voltage of the dc dc booster. Has any protection been provided in the circuit against such mishap, and what is that? Hope you take pains to respond for the benefit of viewers so that they can avoid risking their Multimeter in a bid to saving a few paise on 9 v battery.

@@HarshZankhariya Approximately $10USD for a decent Lithium 9V on AliExpress. There are also cheaper and more expensive ones. I have one of the cheaper batteries that I plan to add to my multi-meter. Since the USB-C port is included on the side of the battery (along with the charging/boost circuit inside the battery case) it's just a matter of running a USB extender/adapter to an open area inside the case with a through-hole for the charging cable.

Aapko is bare main sahi aur puri jankari nahi hai .Do battery ki jarurat nahi ek battery se he chal jayega . Ye sara meter sirf 3.5 volt ki supply leta hai . Fir bhi is me 9 volt ki battery lagaye jate hai . Lekin sabhi multimeter ko sirf 3.5 volt he chaheye . Sirf do resistance ko by pass krna hoga , aur na he low battery batayega fir.
