Hi Karl, I got a Costway Ironing board of my own last week, after inflating with the manual pump in the living room to check it was all fine I was dripping with sweat and exhausted 🤣. So my next step was to order one of these pumps. On my trip this morning I was set up in no time, I spent more time chatting to a curious dog walker than adding additional pumps with my manual pump. These videos are extremely helpfully, specially people like myself who are justing starting out. Thank you!

ive had kampa whirlwind pump from amazon for 3 years now. it inflates my Hobie i14t and sevylor Hudson ready to put the final few pumps in buy hand. all on one charge. saves time getting on the water as we can be assembling seats etc while its pumping

Just had an idea: People seem to worry about what maximum pressure you can inflate these things to, so if you have an old inflatable kayak you can spare or maybe could get a hold of one, you could try to pump it up with a big electric air compressor and see at what pressure it explodes. All 3 chambers even, why not. It would give people some peace of mind if they can see it wont go before maybe 4-5 times the recommended pressure, and it would probably be a fun video to make:)

Don't do it, air under pressure is very dangerous, equivalent to 200 x water pressure

They range from low price entry level at around £100 to the more robust at over £1000. Mine cost between £200 and £750 👍😁

need to know what PSI the cordless pumps did!

The most amount of pumping is filling before reaching the PSI range and these do that for you. After these have reached their capacity you take over with the manual pump and inflate to the required PSI. It takes much less air to increase the PSI value than it does to reach PSI range, so these do the lions share as I said in the video.

Ki Karl.... I bought the Beautyovo (as you know) and find it's great. If and when I sell the aquamarina, I am going to need a manual pump to go with the gopplus..... any suggestions / recomendations at a reasanable price ?

That's a good question Steve. I've never bought one so I'm not really sure. I see 2 options - sell it without the pump and say you threw it cos it bust, or, I'm sure Aqua Marina sell a drop stitch pump - it should be ok.

My favourite was actually the Beautyovo because it was robust, however I dropped it one day and broke the fittings. My go-to is the Pumteck, now rebranded but the same amzn.to/3SNZe9r I've used that this weekend, as has RAF on our big Lune trip 👍😁

Hi. I just found this video, which was helpful. I got the GoPlus also. It seems to indicate to inflate to 13 psi, but I can't get anywhere near that. I bought a 2-way pump with a working gauge, but found it even harder to work than the pump that comes from GoPlus. In your video, you say you get yours to 6 or 7 psi, which is what I get mine to. Is that really enough? It seems firm enough, but I didn't know for sure. Thanks for your videos and any clarification you can give.

I've since sold my GoPlus but as I recall you only inflate it to 8psi MAX. I rarely inflate anything to the max as it's usually sufficient just under. Does that help? 😊

Wow! 150 pumps? That seems a lot. How many for the Story Karl? I've never counted but it doesn't feel anywhere near that.

It's probably more than 150. It's a huge air chamber. The Story takes about 30 to 40 per sie and between 50 to 60 for the base. It seems so much easier somehow.
