Sophie Uliano is in the kitchen and ready to show you how you can enjoy your blended and iced coffee drinks with a fraction of the calories. By making these drinks at home, it is not only healthier, but also cheaper! Stevia sweetener is also a great alternative for sugar when making these drinks at home.
Ingredients for a Cinnamon Mocha Frappuccino
- 2 cups non-dairy milk of your choice (try So Delicious Coconut or Almond)
- 2 tsp instant coffee (or 1/2 cup strongly brewed coffee)
- 2 tsp cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
- 2 pitted dates (or a pinch of stevia; a squirt of Agave (does raise blood sugar)
- Whipped soy or rice cream
- Organic chocolate syrup (I will bring in)
- A pinch of cinnamon
Ingredients for a Green Tea Frappuccino
- 2 cups non dairy milk
- 3 tsp Matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- A minute pinch of sea salt
- A pinch of stevia or a squirt of Agave
- Whipped soy or rice cream
- 1 tsp coconut shreds
Directions for a Cinnamon Mocha Blended Ice Drinks
- Blend all ingredients well in a blender. Pour into large ice cube trays. Freeze until slushy. Either toss into blender again, or pour directly into tall glass. Top with cream, choc syrup and cinnamon.
Directions for a Green Tea Blended Ice Drinks
- Blend all ingredients well in a blender. Freeze or add ice, enjoy.
