She had no choice with the way the LAPD behaved. Years later I heard Marsha say that she knew she'd lost the case immediately because of the racism in the LAPD. I lived in LA for decades. It's virtually impossible for a Black man during that time to live in LA during Chief Gates tenure to not have a gun pulled on you; even if it's a driving interaction.

@@1999glock A lawyer defends his client to the best of his ability. That is what he did. As for the "race card" the biggest bombshell in this trial was not Fuhrman or race it was in fact how poorly forensic evidence was collected that was heavily relied upon to prosecute OJ. If they had followed the right procedures there's no way he would have been found innocent.
@1999glock

James, OJ Simpson was not found innocent. The forensic collection was not the issue, race was. No matter how it was "collected" it was incontrovertible. The defense tried (successfully) to confuse an ignorant jury that "flawed collection" equals flawed evidence. Not so. Any jury in the county of LA would have convicted him, except the one he got.

@@jamesmay2878 Johnnie was a great lawyer, agree, but the race card was the biggest bombshell played in this case. OJ's lawyers insinuated {they had to} that some of the evidence was planted {there was a shit load of it} because OJ was a black man married to a white woman. They are pulling bones out of the dirt that is thousands of years old and extracting viable DNA. They could have sneezed and farted all over the forensic evidence in this case but it would still be OJ.

@@jayceewriter7826 It just made sense. When you look at how Barry Scheck dismantled the prosecutions case and put the LADP in the midst of the killings with the science and DNA it was obvious that the LAPD killed those people because the A-B Blood under Nichole's fingernails was not a match for her, Ron Goldman or OJ. Case closed right there. Once you add the fact they found Caucasian male hair inside the glove. The EDTA preservative that was only present in OJ's blood.. The list goes on and on. They found blood that had not been degraded from June 13th to July 3rd which is impossible. That suggest the blood was planted. And the police were trying to cover their tracks in the killings by contaminating the crime scene and planting evidence against OJ and it was proven in a Court of Law. Which explains why they had cameras and microphones and most of all OJ himself during the second time he was set up in Las Vegas. Even though he was there to retrieve his own property.. But that's America for you.. Sore losers.. Ask Micheal Jackson.. Oh you can't.. Some sore loser had him killed.

ok so jury is still supposed to convict if prosecution and evidence has holes in it. so that means just because you think he did it you should convict. thats not how it works. thank God you didnt make the rules

@@brandonpickens7852 Remember the juror who said afterwards that they voted not guilty as revenge for the Rodney King violence? He would have left a video of the murder and they would have acquitted.

Cohran did save oj, the holes in the case did. any smart lawyer could have done similar. there were tooooooooooo many holes plus a raist cop that found evidence. one who in the past admitted to making up things to arrest black males......... ummmm
