Hi, I was raised in an Italian family so I’m used to having lasagna a certain way. I’ve never had lasagna with cheddar cheese in it only with ricotta cheese. That being said your lasagna did come out very nice and I’m sure it’s delicious! Just a different version of what I’m used to.Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing you soon. The Baking Diva hi Dolores, I did not include the cheddar cheese as I felt it had no place in this recipe... I made it with only Parmesan and mozzarella cheese and béchamel sauce. It tasted way more authentic to Sicilian vegetarian lasagna without the addition of the cheddar cheese. I also make a variety of lasagna with ricotta sometimes, but in true Sicilian style I usually only make it with the above mentioned Parmesan and Mozzarella and béchamel sauce and of course with meat sauce.
