Judging by the vote ratio people might think this video is controversial. But Byron wanted us to see all sides of him. Having watched streams every day since 2011 as one of my primary forms of entertainment, I'll say that even though Reckful is a bit of an asshole ... I agree with everything he said about twitch streamers, and it's exactly what I've believed for the past 5 years. It's extremely obvious if you compare how streaming was from 2011 - 2013 to now that 99% of streamers don't give a shit about you and are just out for your money; they will use whatever little sellout manipulation tricks they have in order to get it. I used to watch tons of streamers, but now I can barely watch any because it's so cringe how they sacrifice quality content in order to squeeze every dime out of their viewers ... and the worst part is, the viewers fall for their tricks every time hook line and sinker. It's pretty pathetic, but it's also taught me how easy it is to deceive the general public. If you've every subscribed or donated to any of these WoW streamers: Asmongold, Sodapoppin, Towelliee, Pikaboo, Cdew, and probably many more than you have very likely been deceived. Subscribe because you enjoy their content, don't subscribe because you want them to acknowledge you, or because you want to be a part of their stupid club, or because you want their little overreaction to make you feel better ... because it's all completely fake.

Almost all good players at any game are like that. I raided high end(top 20 world) for a solid 8-9 years and the shit people say behind closed doors is fucked up. Everyone was so elitist in those guilds it's crazy. Our guild even had a recruitment form on the website where our officers would make fun of people that tried to join the guild. Before that I was doing gladiator mmr 3s and 5s, and some people were so elitist on skype like holy shit. If someone made one small mistake some people would rage out on the first loss even if we had just won 3-4 games in a row. @@chloegpt He treated people like shit for years. This was not something that happened recently in his life at the time. He had a huge ego and could never get over himself while living off his parents money. He couldn't keep a GF even though the chicks he talked to any streamer could marry because of how easy they were/are, he would cheat on them and abuse them instead of being a half decent human being.

That reaction towards Whaazz was so uncalled for. Maybe he's jealous of Whaazz being so close to winning Blizzcon while Reckful never could. I don't know the whole background, just saw one comment from Whaazz, which seemed to be in good fun and Reckful lost it. There was this video from Whaazz called 'best mechanical rogue/player' and Reckful didn't like that title, thought it was too cocky. Who cares, Whaazz is very good, is he the best ever? We'll know in 2 weeks from now. If winning Blizzcon is any measure of that. Regardless, they're both exceptional players, no need to hate like that.

It's more the reason behind it that feels bad. They act humble because they know it attracts viewers, not because they are naturally humble. They're acting -- Is what Reckful means (I think).
