Here we are, at Richard IV. I cannot thank you all enough for your support with these episodes.
For those asking, Richard is based on an LSWR N15 without smoke deflectors.
The models you see in this video are made by Members of Sodor Workshops, Si3D, Light and Coal, Auran, MH1994, and many many more.
Music by me.
I don't own talking train show, I just like making using the characters. Please don't sue me! I'm loyal.
#Henry #RichardTheNewEngine #Gordon #James #Fuck (I have to have swears so that KZbin doesn't flag the video)

As far as I'm concerned, Season 6 of the show now has four new episodes and nobody can tell me otherwise. This anthology was made with twice the cleverness, charm, wit, artistry, depth and heart of the classic series. Brilliantly, delightfully written, with ground-breaking, stunningly gorgeous visuals and an incredible narrator who was born for this role. Example #467 of the brilliant writing- Imagine the trucks helping to stop the train! Genius.. Richard is a fine addition to the crew- he's a part of the Sodor family that we never knew we needed, and he fits in so well that it's like he was there all along. Carson, you and your fine team of artists and wizards should all be extremely proud of what you've done. This is a project- and truly a gift -to treasure for years to come. Thank you for this!

The best bit for me in this was the banter between the trucks as well as Richard and the scenes of Richard running away. The fact that the trucks are written to just want their fun and actually heeding an engine's pleas for help kinda puts a new light on their non malicious mischief. I love this.

What an excellent finale to Richard's saga. The runaway scene reminded me of A Close Shave, and the crash is brilliant. I feel sorry for Richard and James even after the smashed coaches incident, and it's great that all four of the main line tender engines are all friends. Even the ending reminded me of the end of Edward's Exploit from the RWS.

What a finale! The crash was brilliant, the character interactions were interesting and I love the fact the trucks tried to stop their own actions. Richard is definitely one of the best OCs to come out of the fandom. He looks like a Thomas character, sounds like a Thomas and acts like a Thomas character. You should be proud of yourself Carson. Random suggestion: Why not make some kind of VHS type of video that even includes Richard's own nameboard?

Aw... Look at James' face as he passes Richard with the Express. Eyes at the right direction, maybe a little more enlarging, he'd be just like a pug puppy. 0:23 "My brand new Express coaches, too..." Love the little whimper at the end. Could've sworn it was Salem Saberhagen and not Gordon. LOL Nice way of making the steel girders fall off. The freight car who said "defensive positions" sounded a lot like a high-ranking British military officer. ;) Oh, those freight cars really didn't think things through, did they? But then, they hardly do, and that's not surprising. XD Wow! What a performance, Richard! And what a crash! Worthy of a Nor'Westerner! Welcome aboard!

If Rev.W.Audry was still around he would be proud of you mate. This is how you do Thomas episodes; especially in a small 4-part story for that matter. Every detail; music; narration; character movement. Wow... I can't wait to expect what comes next. Adding to that; when Richard crashed and was lying on his side in the dirt; I like how you added a rough texture of dirt to the side of his face, almost thought it was blood there for a second. But then again if this sort of process will be the outcome of your (what everyone can agree on) the best remake to the "Sodor: Dark times", then for you; there is so much potential and the sky's the limit. Well done mate; honestly; well done👏. Can't wait to see what comes next!

This here is “Wooden Bear,” composed by Florian Voelxen, Gil Flat and Tony Tape. 6:59 "Oh! Hello there little fellow..." Dangit Richard, stop being so wholesome. XD What a way to wrap up a saga. This is probably your best work yet, Crass! Kinda think of it, this is probably BuriedTruck's best work yet, too. RWS inspired storytelling coupled with a Seasons 3-5 inspired atmosphere! Richard feels like a natural fit in the Thomas universe, and seeing his journey from scrap engine to established fourth big engine was so inedible... err, adoring- uh.... I'm overjoyed that he's come this far! Jake, Mike and Misc did wonderful in bringing him to life, in every way possible. I genuinely hope to see more mainline antics with "The Big Four" in the future ;) Lovely smug truck by the way.

What an amazing end to the Richard saga. :) It's really a shame that Richard ended up on maintenance duty after that awful accident with the crane (which ultimately destroyed one of the new (albeit empty) coaches in the process), but, of course, he got the last laugh in the end with that exciting and daring redemption he sought. Had it not been for his quick-thinking, there could've been a serious accident. After all, it was very close, um.... Shave. (Season 2 reference XD) Either way, the Richard saga is definitely a masterpiece in entirety. The musical score was very catchy and well-executed, the narration/voices provided by Knapford Productions (Jake) was very fascinating and praiseworthy (to be honest, he did so well that he almost reminded me of Alec Baldwin in a positive way :) ), even the models were impressive. Ever since the beginning, you've been providing us with outstanding content, and it gets better and better with every video. Keep up the great work Carson, you're doing very well.

I should point out that Richard is a twisted expansion of the fleeting derailed engine exposition from Gordon Goes Foreign; it is also hinted that he was a pre-Oliver, attempting to escape the threat of being scrapped by making for Sodor, which further justifies the significance of Oliver's speaking role in this arc's first instalment. I also like to think regarding Henry's role that this naturally follows on from Babysitting, where he came to terms with his reservations over what others thought of him; it otherwise wouldn't have arguably been as easy for Richard to settle in without Henry being as willing to vouch for him. It is that consideration for underlying significance that makes for some of the finest story arcs. Samuel F.

Gotta also add the effects were awesome! with the crane arm hitting the side of the carriage =) that was awesome XD also the crash! that was awesome ^^ and him landing on his side finishes it off nicely. Each shot was filmed really nicely with perfectly placed cues, music and sfx =) I'll find myself re-watching your Richard stories mate ^^ and I look forward to more.

Richard looks the way Scott should. With the obvious change of numbers and 2 tenders he'd come far closer to resembling the original Scotsman than other versions we see. Ps There's room for both of them.
