Recognizing Mr. Verlon 'Pop" Maguglin's 102nd Birthday

Last week on the House Floor, I recognized Mr. Verlon ‘Pop’ Maguglin’s 102nd birthday! Pop is a pillar of the Live Oak Community, having lived there for 100 years. He planted a legacy of family and farming, particularly in the seeds of the Maguglin Slims, a special type of okra that he raised to pass on to his children and grandchildren. We wish you many more years of health and happiness!
