BLOODLINE
Come on, the night is young
Seek me out
Because I'm ready to get stung
So long, so long, feed me
Come on, show me
Come on, need me
Come on, show me the way
Come on, need me in that way
So long
You just never ever get what you want
(Get what you want)
You just never ever get what you need
(Get what you need)
Come on, you deserve me
Come on, it's the thought of you in my veins
Come on, show me the way
Come on, show me the feeling
So long
You just never ever get what you want
(Get what you want)
You just never ever get what you need
(Get what you need)

Obviously I miss Alan in DM. But what he does with Recoil is absolutely amazing. Unsound Methods is in my opinion one of the best albums ever in all categories. It requires time to listen to, but the more you listen, the better it becomes. Listen to it with a good sound system, high-volume, in a darkened room, lie on your back and float into the music. It's better than meditation. Had he stayed in DM, it's not certain all of the amazing music he makes with Recoil had been made.

@tangfors
@tangfors Жыл бұрын
@@EduardoPortasRuiz Yes and I think that maybe it was the wrong people who started listening to him, it was mostly DM fans and they just wanted him back to DM and didn't think it sounded enough DM and so on, but those albums are a bit more of Trip Hop, but it never feels like that audience got their eyes on the albums. If Allan had been in, for example, Massive Attack, dropped out and then made those albums, he might have enjoyed a wider audience that liked that type of music.

I get Alan has contributed to the feel of Depeche mode but we can't say the others didn't have any play in that as well. The only people who know are the people who were in that room at that time making great music. If wilder put DM where they are today, why isn't his numbers equal or better than Depeche?
