This worked very well. Didn't take more than a minute. Make sure you wear safety glasses. Worked just like in the video.

It is actually quite dangerous this way. I have a better way. You just put the end of the spring (outside end) onto the housing in the position you want it to sit, then you start press in the spring piece by piece, getting smaller and smaller. This way you don't need power tools and i think it's way more safe.
