Looking forward to the updates and technical content. I’m currently hamming through my TJ 3/4 ton build similar to your rev.1 build. Thanks for taking the time to document via. video!

Please keep these videos coming you do a great job explaining! I just starting my first Jeep build (2006 LJ). Plans so far are tons, coilovers, long arm/stretch and all the supporting mods to go with that. I have had many jeeps but mainly done bolt on only modifications. This will be my first full build and I am learning a lot on the way. I really like these videos because it really gives beginners like myself some good direction and possibly save myself money/time.

I feel ya buddy! I can weld, fab, do a little bit of everything. But I'm not a professional builder. It's not hard for it it to get us in a rough spot🤣. I'm slowly trying to get my TJ where i want it. I LOVE what u have done to Recoil TJ. RESPECT!

Are you going to keep the Manuel transmission?

You are going to have to go full hydro on the front with the double triangulated kit, if not and you try to go 3 link you will have binding issues correct?

The Front half kit is designed for full hydro. You COULD make a steering box fit though. The front 4 link could be modified into a 3 link but that's not what I decided to do. I went full hydro so Im keeping the 4 link. Yes, technically you could have some binding issues if you ran a 4 link with a drag link because of the different angles of axle travel.

Really enjoy your work and channel. Do you have a instagram page or fb? I want to get your in input on put 37’s on my tj. Im on 35 with4.5 lift and rockcrawler long arm. I want to put a rear stretch without going all out. I know they make genright factory location tank. How would you go about stretching the rear without relocating tank? Is it simple as adjusting arm length and relocating rear spring location? Or do I need to change rear links?

Absolutely! Instagram link should be on the main channel page. Recoil_TJ

Do you really, really need tons? I ask myself that on a regular basis. I've got a ProRock 44 up front, built to the nines. 35 spline RCVs, ARB locker, Reid knucks, BJ deletes. Trussed D44 in the rear, 35 spline chromos, ARB, Yukon gears, sitting on 40" STT Pros & KMC beadlocks. Those axles have never failed me...never. And yet the end goal is still SD60/14B. I've never babied it either. I'm heavy on the skinny pedal & in the back of my head I almost want to grenade it so I can justify spending money on tons. If I'm being honest with myself, it's more want than need. I don't NEED to run 43" MT Baja Pro XS but I know I want to Lol. We do it because we're Jeep degenerates. That's what we do. We build it up till we can't build no more & proud of it!

well that's definitely how my mindset started lol. Every time that jeep was out the last year or two I felt likt it was at its limit. im really impressed by what they held up to for sure. There wasn't much more upgrading to be done on those axles either so the new owner will surely enjoy them for years! As far as need... does anybody NEED a jeep thats not a daily and NEED a rock crawler toy? No so I thing whatever you do its a matter of want lol! Given that I did have 1 issue on mine early on it kept my wheeling somewhat reserved. Not anymore, with the custom setup im going with I should have no problem running the new 42" bosses and actually putting some HP behind them as well. I say build those axles man!
