I remember that my dad bought me this game one day randomly. Up until then, I never knew what Wolfenstein was. Thank you dad, I loved this game, and idgaf what the new developers had to say about it. It was fun, scary and overall very a very amazing experience.

I played the new order first, then I was poor so I bought an old PS3 and found a disk for Wolfenstein 2009. Really cool game but likely ignored at the time due to many other FPS titles. Though I will always love the story and music for this wolfenstein game.

I love Wolfenstein, beat 3D, beat Return, and I never got the chance to play this one but the action hero trope here gets ridiculous. Like why even send a whole army for the Normandy Invasion? Just send Blazkowicz to single handedly infiltrate all German strongholds and kill all enemy soldiers.

This game is underrated and I had a lot of fun playing it, but I can see why some people didn't like it. It was here that BJ started to become superman with his plot armor, but still, for me it feels like a good ww2 Wolfenstein, specially when you look at the games that followed. I think that Wolfenstein needs a reboot and go back to WW2. Also, Caroline was hot in this game, but they ruined her in The new colossus.. sigh

I don't know why but I did not enjoy this wolfenstein game. It felt like I was in some sort of nightmare the entire way through, and not in a good way. It felt very hollow and empty for a semi open world game.

This is related to New Order. Current Wolfenstein canon goes like this: Return to Castle Wolfenstein -> Wolfenstein 2009 -> Old Blood -> New Order -> New Colossus -> Young Blood

Game flopped but I admit, of all the dozens we have this one was unique, fun, and interesting all throughout. It deserves not a remaster but a total makeover so long they stay true to the source, unfortunately in today’s market it will probably end up as another woke product.
