See Zim, you should just make the video :p

I do like this format. It's much easier to follow than random pics, or even a filmed battle report.

Great to know, thank you :)

I like the post battle analysis. Useful review for future games.

2:35 I do like Confirm Kill.

Yeah, seems straightforward for some teams. Recon is just the best archetype hands down between that and plant, needs a nerf tbh.
@malcneuro94057 күн бұрын
I liked it, would merrily watch more of this type. I'd value further depth of thoughts about what worked or what didnt work, and what you'd do differently next time. But yeah, good video, enjoyed it!

Fantastic, thank you for the feedback. If I have a more even game it will probably be easier to provide more tactical nuance.

Side note. I’ve heard that Rob the honest Warhammer hosts shatterpoint games at the TSN arena in Nottingham. If your looking for games
@TabletopImpulse6 күн бұрын
I have heard him say this on the juggs podcast, but I have looked on the TSN arena website and couldn't see any shatter point events.

0:00 Introduction 1:35 Battle Report format explanation 2:09 The Battle Prep 5:09 Turning Point 1 11:19 Turning Point 2 18:17 Turning Point 3 24:22 Turning Point 4 27:18 Final Thoughts I enjoyed the video. Could I ask for a few minor tweaks to your main map screen. Could we have a Turning Point X. The time stamps will help but I feel if someone is clicking through they should be able to tell the turning point visually. Next a box for dead and a box for deploy. I know it wont apply to most teams but it would be great on the Aquilons to have a box for the different groups. Currently they just float of the map in undefined space. Part of me like that you had the mission objective on screen in full as then new players can learn. However I don't think you stated which objective was surged in what turn so it was a little hard to follow on that. By the way is this PowerPoint Or OBS we are looking at here?
@TabletopImpulse7 күн бұрын
Thanks for the timestamps. Glad you enjoyed the video. I will try and get some turningpoint labels sorted out. A box for dead and a box for deploy - probably only important when one of the teams is Aquilons, but I will in future. I didn't mention which objectives where surged tp 3 and 4, sorry about that. In TP3 it was the objective on the left of the screen, and on TP4 it was the remaining objective. It's powerpoint running through OBS.

@@TabletopImpulse We teachers do love our Power Point don't we. No promises on time but could you share the file with me? I'd love to try and make some assets for you to use for this.

Nice format which could be refined by including some notes from your opponent. As to how to win, I have two ideas; play gallowdark and get those shooty Orks on the table
@TabletopImpulse7 күн бұрын
I will see if Zimbad wants to provide notes, otherwise yeah, shooty orks. Working on it.

Great video, really like the tactical break down of the game sometimes is better than the hold battle report, btw maybe lower the 3d printer speed during record lol it was going ham on the background, great video still

I enjoyed it but it was sometime hard to follow where the operative you were talking about was. Maybe you could have a big arrow shape you drop and move around to indicate the location of whatever you’re referring to on the map?

It looked odd. Seemed like you should have been able to stay concealed more. Also just seems like you threw away the bomb squigs for no result. Everyone says that Volkus is a very closed board, and favors melee, but I didn’t see it in this report.
@TabletopImpulse7 күн бұрын
Yeah, I probably did both of those things. I will try not to just throw my bomb squigs away, and give up playing with the portable barricade. I'm struggling though to understand what a useful scouting option is.
@earnestwanderer24717 күн бұрын
Like on the first or second turn.., your model was in a building, behind the portable barricade and somehow still visible and a valid target? Not on conceal perhaps? Dunno, I don’t yet own the terrain set so I’m not familiar with the setup.
