Probably my favorite thumbnail ever! Filmed w/ @SonomaMarinGarbage Watch in 4k
Hey everyone! Back in August of 2022 on the final week of summer, Charlie and I met up in my neighborhood of the city to film the Thursday route. Funny enough, despite all of the other filming I'd done during the summer months, I'd never filmed the Thursday route before - so I was glad to do so. Most of this footage is seen on Funston Ave in the Inner Sunset, and the last couple minutes are from the nearby Friday route where I caught the same driver the next day, so I figured I'd throw in those clips as well! Turned out, this driver was pretty new to Recology at the time, and was subbing for the normal guy on this route - but this is the usual truck however. These older split Lodals were always fun to film during my time in the city - they're not the fastest, but look neat and have a great sound. As usual, you can see a nice variety of Norcal/Recology Toters, and fun fact - when I found him on Friday, an uncommon lid with an orange sorting guide from a NorCal EVRI 30 fell into the truck - so I was able to add that to my collection haha! Plus, filming in the hills of SF is always a treat - in some clips as well as the thumbnail you can see St. Anne's church and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background! With that, enjoy a classic Lodal roaring up the Inner Sunset Hills! Huge thanks to the driver for allowing us to film!
