Damn, these lazy ass, entitled people! That first table was in excellent condition and was perfectly repurposeful. In my resale booth, I could’ve gotten $200 for that mid century designed table. Damn! But, you are just doing your job. It’s the lazy people who don’t even try to repurpose these things that piss me off. All the same, nice crush!

@@hi-et1oq. Who the F is “we” and why does your opinion matter? So many “we” are giving their stuff to landfills - for free…being lazy and dismissive - for free. Get off of your lame asses and keep shit out of landfills and repurpose items that can have another life. #LAME

Wow, this compilation really sheds light on the sanitation issues in San Francisco. It's concerning to see so much waste left behind.

Neat to see a driver who works in San Francisco sharing some POV videos! I used to live there back in 2022 and recorded Recology trucks for my channel all the time. Thanks for sharing!

Have you participated in homeless garbage cleanup in SF

I have not personally. As far as i know the city has their own crews that do that with police escorts. We're a third party company.

Great video by 'head-cam' I presume. Seems an awful lot of beds in odd places. - Shame to have to crush some of that furniture, a lot could have been re-used. That's the trouble nowadays if it's not the latest style, - then throw it away - must keep up with the people next door, - who in turn have keep up with you - so they do the same - it's a vicious circle. - You have a new Subscriber.👍.

That file cabinet crunch down was more entertaining than it should be, LOL. Since this is SF, I knew what was discarded was a lot better than what I have here in WV. But I do remember this, a friend of mine in SF would haul stuff home if he saw something on the curb better than what he had in the apartment. I sure hope they separate all that metal from everything else at the transfer station. And finally, I'm surprised how far you have to carry the bulky items to the hopper. I follow another guy on KZbin, Bulky Crusher, and I get the impression he can get the truck pretty close to what he has to pick up - though I could be wrong about that since he doesn't show the parts where he has to haul it to the hopper.

I find some treasures every once in a while that I take home, but it’s pretty seldom anything good. A lot of the waste has to be hiked to the truck just because of the cars parked everywhere here. It’s not often that someone passes up an available parking spot in SF!

Nice clip! Thanks for sharing! Does there comes more in the Future? Maybe also with a installed cam directly at the compactor (close view at the crushing ), like bulky crusher does? Thanks again and have a great 2024!

The vast majority of it is abandoned furniture. Someone moves out and leave all the junk in the street. It usually sits there for a day before someone calls the city and we get dispatched to come get it.
