You can run a venom or rmr micro red dot right in front or behind the Unity risers and have a second low optic. You can see right through the hole under the built in sights. I pull the front post and use a regular front sight. Things are great.

I’ve got an MRO at lower third and I’d like to keep it like that. Will this work with that or would I be forced to get a taller mount for the MRO?

They do sell a mount for it & I believe you will reach 2.26 just as that eotech does

It looks like the red dot would have to have a ton of eye relief... The ACSS Holosun would be badass in front of that rig if I could see it that far fwd.

The eye relief is not that big a deal, you can get it as close to your eye as any other red dot and magnifier mount.

It does, it also can use the screws that came with your optic.

Could the riser be flipped to work with the magnifier? For example, I'm running a Holosun 515 on my 11.5" with a Vortex 3x magnifier. I want to add the Fast Mount to the Holosun. I'd also like to keep the Vortex flip mount intact (if possible). If I installed the Fast Riser behind the red dot, would that put the Holosun and the magnifier in perfect alignment? I'm left handed and the Vortex works so well for me as it's currently configured, but I would like the the extra height for the red dot. I don't always use the magnifier on the rifle, so I also like how easy the Vortex is to quickly affix. Thank you

Yeah use the unity mount for the red dot and the unity riser for the magnifier. The unity riser doesnt have a QD, but the holosun magnifier does so you can at least rip it off when you’re not using it. Its honestly worth the money to just get the unity brand magnifier mount though because its already perfect height, has a QD option, and drops to center and keeps the rifle balanced regardless of if its up or down.

@@justsomemincedgarlic a company called RedBack one sells an inter graded mount that has pictanny rails for magnifier to be attached/detached to your convenience

The Aimpoint is awesome as is the Holosun, when Unity has a mount that will work with it.

its revolutionary and lets you use its built in rear hard sight until you add the magnifier mount... then no go on the rojo...

It's almost like they put on a QD latch on the magnifier for a reason....... Also you can see the irons under the magnifier.

Great concept but $200 for just the mount? To pricey for my taste. I’d rather stick to the new vortex micro magnifier flip to side for $270 with QD mount.

Love Vortex, so they are a solid choice, but Unity is next level, this is absolutely a get what you pay for/buy once, cry once kind of product.

I get you. I own two Holosun (HS510green and HS503 ACSS) and they work flawlessly. I also use an Eotech but i prefer the Holosun. The Vortex micro is a great deal cheaper and their warranty is fantastic should it be needed, though i doubt that it will be needed. I love the concept of the mount but i just can’t with that price. Thanks for your info though. Very cool video. I also did subscribe as well.

Will the fast mount work with a trijicon moro?

Yes and No, the FAST Riser for the EOTech will, but the MRO shares at screw pattern with the RMR, so it will not work with the FAST Mount as it is cut for the Aim Point Pattern.

It’s made for red dots, red dots are Mostly CQB, and then they make it a “train for height over bore” it’s great machine work but an absolutely bad idea for many reasons
