The steel pointer pen I use is the Zebra F-701, which costs a bit more than a typical pen but it's money well spent in my opinion. It won't break and you can buy replacement ink cartridges. Just don't lose it!

5:57 The GBD-H2000 Does display the heart rate out of the box. You just have to select it, it has 4 home screens to choose from and the last one is customisable. Choose heart monitor in one of the custom settings and boom there it is. I’ve had the watch since day one and set heart rate straight away. If o could post images here I’d show you. Cheers.

Ok. My watch face 4 shows the cumulative steps on the step counter. Do you customize that watch face through the Casio watches app?

@@JimKinkade yeah that’s correct, use the app to customise the face. You’ll see. You can choose many things to show on the face.

What you actually do is customise Watch face 5 but you’ll see it clearly if you go to the app. I know this watch is far better without all the crappy “smart connected” features but the Casio watches app does help customise the watch without all the bullshit.

The DW-H5600 wins on a technicality. It doesn’t have a GPS or ABC sensors. Those take a big bite out of the battery life on the GBD-H2000. But for basic watch functions and HRM they have similar battery life.

O by the way the GBD-H2000 Has a setting that u can view the HRM.. it also shows the calories as well its on the setting itself u can navigate the settings…

I got a Home Screen with the HRM but it's small numbers. I want BIG numbers for the HRM and BIG numbers for the time together.

yes its smalll but somehow it shows the HRM plus the calories....well just to add, the GBD -H1000 is also a good one...good thing i saw your video clip on the DW-H5600, i was already planning to purchased it from amazobm but after watching your video ..forget it...i'll stick to GBD-H2000..which shows the calories HRM only on small thing on top...but well its a good watch not becasue i love GSHOCH-Tough Solar..but GSHOCk--Durability/ shocj proof/ solar, water resistance, tough watch...and charghing takes like 8-10 days..

If you think the H2000 is just too big you may like the H5600. But if you're happy with the H200 there's no reason to switch.

Yes, both watches show you moon phase in the almanac widget. The GBD-H2000 allows you to display the moon phase on the customizable watch face too.

Keen eye! Yes, the GBD-H2000 time synchs via GPS whenever I work out. But since I don’t use the Casio Watches app I set the DW-H5600 through the settings on the watch itself. The difference is my reaction time. 🐢

I just saw in casio promo the new rangeman has the sensor rise like dwh5600. I will be curious when you will have it if will make marks on the wrist. If let marks will be a deal breaker for me. Then the gbdh2000 will be the best in confort.
