I appreciate your honesty. You don't pretend you're some great trainer, but you have a very good understanding of what a horse is thinking. And why they act the way they do. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

I really like the length and focus of your videos, short informative and right to the point. We humans need a bit of training as well as our four legged companions. Horses like no other beings will teach you about being present and in the moment as you demonstrate, many blessings to you and your beautiful friend.

Excellent demonstration. It also proves that getting along properly with a stallion is way more demanding cause he permanently rises the question of dominance. But it is rewarding if you get the bond.

Not all stallion are dominant, so many of them are more calm and submissive than a gelded or a dominant filly :) It depend of the temperament

Thank You so much for your videos, I have a 8 month old stallion here and your videos are really helpful to get an idea and have an example of how to get along with them. Also takes away some fears which came up for me. Thank you, much love

It's really lovely to see that your horse seeks your company for comfort. It's what my own instructor models for me as well, and what I seek to emulate. It's so sad when people don't allow their horse to touch them because they were taught that you need to show them "who the boss is" at all times. Just last weekend I spent 10mins just standing next to my mare, with her cheek resting against my chest, scratching her neck. Could she suddenly swing her head and knock me across the barn? Sure! But we are not working with horses because we primarily seek a safe environment, do we?

I just love watching your movies!! Please keep making them forever!! I just Love you and your horses!!!! Thank you for making the movies!!! My sister has 2 horses that are spoiled rotten. The gelding pony will back up to Jenny, while she is in the barn on the phone with me for instance, with his rump in her face so she will scratch his rump. Is this behavior playful or something else? She rewards him and her other horse with treats all the time. Even when she shouldn't in my opinion. Any Suggestions?

Hi.i do get what you are saying and i believe you as i feel the same .yet i have a questions .do you not think that the food complicates things?would love to hear how you think about it.
@paardentango7 жыл бұрын
Food can be an issue, when they have less work they need something to chew on. Small amounts, because in domesticated situations boredom might be an issue and then horses over eat. So yes, food has influence n horses. Even horse has his/her own need. Some do great on hay and some power food, grass is great food and thats sometimes enough. We feed hay late in the evening so they have something to chew on during the night. We feed them on the floor.

You are far too hung up on thinking your stallion cares that you’re a woman(a little too much as you’ve made comments in other videos about it and it’s creepy) and that he likes you. He’s a horse and you’re a human. Please stop personifying him and making the mistake of thinking he thinks like a human. He does not. He is acting as a stallion who does not respect you nor cares if you like him. He cares that you release pressure on him when he does what he thinks you want him to. He cares that you bring him food so he can fill his belly. All the “exercises “ that you do with him are for your benefit and nothing but entertainment for him. He already knows how to be a horse and move his body in whatever way possible. These “exercises “ are for your benefit to learn how a horse thinks and quite frankly some of your “theories “ are way off base. You are lucky he is as easy going as he is and tolerates you and hasn’t gotten more aggressive.
