Awesome review. I'm looking forward to adding him to my collection. As for the wrappings on his gun, they are on the locations that his hands will come in contact when doing any shooting. When working in jungles and rainforests, your hands get wet. The wrappings help to ensure his grip won't slip when he's shooting at various terrorist organizations.

Soldier’s two cents. The rifle wrap is to break up the black shape of the weapon, so yeah, camo. But if they wanted to do the reconnaissance troops properly, they’d get rid of the shinny metal knives and keep them flat black.

Just started collecting and wondered into this guy at Target, the mustache sold me and I love it. Joints, especially the knees do seem a bit tight. Hope to make some fun stop motion with this suave looking gentleman.

Man!! I'm definitely down for a joe a week. I think the tape is just for a quick adjustment to grip comfort for a gun maybe not specifically tailored to a certain individual 🤔 That team glamor shot at the end...beautiful.

yeah my Recondo had tight joints... great fig great personality...the only line that often comes close to joes and sometimes beats them is Valaverse

Recondo was the pilot of the Tiger Fly, not Wild Bill. That's the homage to that fact. They totally rewrote his file card, too which is...interesting.

I just don't like the actual Tiger aesthetic of this line. It makes them feel different from the rest and I'd rather they all felt like one big unit (giggity). I'm thinking about doing a kitbash and swapping out his lower half for either Falcon or Stalker. Because everything else about this figure looks fantastic, but those pants are a deal breaker.

Bazooka was waiting at my door today but unfortunately Recondo got moved to backordered. I ordered them together so there must be less Recondo's getting shipped out. I actually saw a Bazooka in the wild yesterday, would of scooped him had mine not shipped already. Fingers crossed my Recondo doesn't get cancelled because he looks great!

I had tight joints on my Bazooka. I just heated him up with the ol lady blow dryer. Fixed it.

I’m actually on the fence about getting this figure. He’s one of my favorites from the original line but I want him in his traditional coloring. However, not being a fan of the Tiger Force subgroup, I can’t deny the look fits the character. I just don’t want to buy two of the same figure. So I guess I’ll just wait. Which I hate.

Great review! However, Tiger Force Recondo's secondary specialty is helicopter pilot per his file card. Hence the Tiger Fly on the side package art.

Excellent review. I am more familiar with the classic look, but I am all in on Tiger Force. I still remember walking into Osco drug as a kid, and finding an un opened case of the 3 3/4 wave that Recondo was in. What a time to be alive that was, I spent every dime I had in my pocket on figures that day.

Just got my shipping notification on this guy. Looking forward to getting him. I think this is my favorite of the Tiger Force figures so far. Just love that hat for whatever reason and as an old time baseball fan love the mustache. Recondo does look like he's ready to come out of the bullpen in the 9th. Protecting that 3-2 lead throwing 100. I'm more into Classified for the army builders but in this line the JOE figures are much cooler than the Cobras. Great weapons on Recondo and the backpack is cool.

Lifeline had to join up. He was the medic. If someone needed to be patched up or revived on site. They stood a better chance with lifeline in the battlefield.

Great video Kyle, was out looking today because it was street dated for today, we’ll go figure, target didn’t have crap I asked and give dcpi nothing, these figures are so hard to find and nobody knows nothing about them😡 tiger force viper and bats were all over but nothing for bazooka or Recondo. Frustrating Target sucks that’s my 2cents looks like pre order for me or eBay man!!!!!! The hunt is not worth it in my area!! The thrill of the hunt is over for me!! To much gas and prices today on every thing is out of control!! Hope you are well and yours!!!🤜🏻🤛🏻

Great review! I may have to pick this one up. You're right about that packaging. Pretty lame. To me, it looks like a cereal box, especially the back. Like it's some kind of lame game to play which no modern kid would ever bother with. "Rocondo's Frosted Jungle Flakes" At least it's still a window box (for now). Cool figure though.
