The green tube going to the backpack on Dusty is part of the Camelback canteen system, it’s a water bag that straps to your back or in the backpack and you drink from the tube. The original 3 3/4” Python Patrol Officer and Troopers were also swapped.

i might be in a minority but i absolutely love the python patrol officer. i didnt think i would but i found a single figure at target and snatched it right up and found that i love it. crazy color scheme but it just works for me. im also in love with my kamakura figure and it might be my favorite of my collection despite not knowing anything about him when i bought the figure.

16:13 The green cable on dusty is a straw to a water bladder that’s going to be inside his backpack. I’ve got a few bags that are set up like that for work, hiking, etc. And it makes sense for him as he’s going to be in the heat and need extra water sources. Pretty much it just means you gotta keep a backpack on him at all times or take the overlay off.

I love the Zarana figure.. there's so much articulation compared to other female figures... Also, you didn't even point out that she's wearing viper pants! Stalker was my first GI Joe figure I ever bought. They had just come out and I didn't know what they were, I was a Star Wars kid, but he looked cool. Was more posable and was the same size as them. I loved his gun as well. His thumb broke off very quickly ....if ya know ya know. But I liked him enough that I had all the basic first run stuff they had before too long. Chores and neighborhood jobs a plenty to save up. I also kind of went through my thief period at the time (glad I grew out of that). Had the R.A.M. and all the small stuff. I couldn't afford the vehicles. I think the Dragonfly was my first that I got for Xmas. Later on I became a nut I had almost everything from the golden age. My last big thing was the Terror Dome. My favorite would be hard. Probably the hovercraft but there was so much cool stuff. I wanted the air craft carrier but it was way beyond my dollars and "Santa" knew I'd be growing out of toys very soon even though I'd say I was late to leave my Joes. D&D won me over. So that was the end of my run. ANNNNNND of course I traded and sold it all of instead of being one of those collectors. I had all first run Star Wars and GI Joe. Sigh such the fool am I. Thanks for the content.

Joe play day! Classified feels as exciting as when Marvel Legends were new. Fun. Now imagine the 15 you opened are but a third of what has been made. Albeit there are several repaints. By end of 2023 you will have the potential to double your collection. Since there will be 5 figures a line repaints for sure. I’m ready! Then to gobble up more shelf space comes the HISS. Yay!

I've missed your days with Joes! Seeing your initial Joe Classified videos got me into them more than I had expected I would. While not perfect, the hair for Lady Jaye will also fit on Zarana. The majority of the weapons with the Snake Eyes/Timber are from the Alley Viper. Wonder how the Dukes would look if you switched the legs/lower torso cover to match up? And I picked up that "shock oil" for my figures because of you. Lots of "blame" upon you, Robo?!

That's... a lot of Joes. Meanwhile, here in Australia, I'm fairly sure all but two online retailers stopped stocking them after the Jaye/Flint wave. Though at least Amazon fills the void. I really want some Crimson Guards. I'm a sucker for a good army builder, and while that one isn't as versatile as the B.A.T., they just look like good elite goons. Though the backpack kinda throws off the regal look a bit. But the Python Patrol joins the Alley Viper in being too garish to be a generic trooper for a lot of different displays. The non-army builders aren't quite my thing, but most of them look like they could make some decent mutant hunters in a pinch. The change in bicep swivel is something I wouldn't have noticed, good eye, Robo. Wonder why they went that route.

Python “officer” is really Trooper look up the original 1989 Python Patrol and can see officer and trooper being swapped around so this mix match reuse fills both roles

Hey Robo, did you notice your Xamot's neck guard was bent over at the top? It's not supposed to look like that. It should be exactly like Tomax's except mirrored. Maybe you can fix it with some heat therapy?

My Recondo is terrible though, the shirt (torso) is extremely glossy while the sleeves are mat, just looks bad, hope you’ll show us yours after the dull coat (whatever that is) 😮

Love this line, but I have the same issue with the new shoulder/bicep connection. It looks good in neutral if you aren’t having the gapping problem, but they are ugly when engaged/twisted.

I grabbed the first few figures released in the Classified line, but had mostly fallen out with the line after the first Cobra Island releases and the general difficulty of being able to find anything out at retail. I grabbed one or two here and there, like Barbecue and the Heavy Artillery Roadblock, but was mostly out. It does seem though I've gotten back on the wagon of late, having grabbed all the Tiger Force releases, the retro Gung-Ho, and Sgt Slaughter.

YES! You know this is right up my alley. I'm glad to see you're catching up with the collection. Out of all of those figures, the only one I didn't go for was the Tiger Force Duke and RAM. I like my second edition Duke just fine. Recondo is probably my favorite right now, but that could be because I just opened him yesterday. Bazooka is another fantastic addition. I really don't care for the Python Patrol Officer. For me though, it's less the color scheme and more that he's just unimpressive overall. By the way, I would like to send you over a custom sometime.
