This was a lot of work, but it looks stunning. Well done.

i know you probably do these uploads primarily for potential clients to view, but thank you for making these videos available to the public. i think i have watched nearly every video you've uploaded by now. i am in the middle of a remodel. although it is a house in the midwest, which is a very different animal than a manhattan apartment, i never was quite able to put my taste and aesthetic into an actual vision. you execute very well the haphazard patchwork of ideas i have floating around in my head that i couldn't quite conceptualize until i watched your work. i really enjoy your style.

Hey Thanks David!!! I know totally different here BUT the conceptual and visual might help.. appreciate your comment!

I come back periodically to check and I was super excited to see this new video! When I see your renovations, I am astounded by how "calming" the areas seem to be. I see some of the before's and wonder how the heck did you see the potential in that? I can imagine some of the wars you have engaged in to get your clients what they want in these prewar buildings. You always make these homes elegant, functional and inviting. LOVE IT!

Hey.. well thank you! I don't know how but I think it's a gift.. just can see through anything that we face to create something that will work, with all the roadblocks.. and we get there with minor compromises!! Thanks Rosemary!!

Your designs are amazing. I am just starting to remodel an old 1960s, (very small) apartment in Bucharest. Your videos helped are great inspiration!

Another great job. I like the addition of the wall in the entrance and where the fireplace is ... just to take away that long bowling alley look. This is beautifully done.

Hi Paula. I came across your page two weeks ago when researching renovation ideas for my own townhouse in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have watched all of your videos and have to say that I am in love with your style, attention to detail and the passion you have for your clients. Happy New Year. Geoff Bryant

Hey Geoff! Thanks for such a lovely complement! I really believe that it sets us apart, as a firm and service. Someone recently said, as we were showing another project to a neighbor for a new finished project, " oh, I get it.. this is really art in 3D..." she got my perspective.. color, light, style, function, transcending form is really the platform for creating great renovations.. and most importantly, with the vision of the clients as the key that unlocks the planning and creativity for what I know we can do, and they cannot quite see. Thanks again and best of luck! Paula

Hi there!! Nice to know this!! That Linen closet is really a compromise of tiny spaces.. just not enough room.. and the shower steam can be a problem.. definitely, but we are stuck in New York without space in tremendously expensive apartments. So, that's a compromise here. Most welcome!!! :)

The colour on those kitchen cabinets is beautiful. I love that shade of gray. Never seen it before. The rest of the apt. is very nice also.

I prefer the size of the kitchen before renovations. The new kitchen is a little claustrophobic for me.

Hi Paula. It is really amazing how you are able to change the location of the toilet bowls especially. these very old buildings in New York city areas are versatile !!! Do the owners of these units ever half open their windows to let air in ? We install window grilles for safety and security in case of robbers/thieves. In Singapore, 85% of us live in blocks of flats. Some are condominiums and mostly are Housing and Development Board built by our government. All are uniformed. Smallest units are 45-55m2 up till 200m2. Our Island is really tiny !!!

Hi Paula, thank you for uploading your videos ... l just absolutely love them !! ..It is so interesting to see what is happening on the other side of the world, l live in a very little country town in Victoria Australia. I do have one question for you, it's about the linen cupboard in the bathroom ? Do you think the steam from the shower could cause mould on the linen ? Once again thanks for your great videos 😀

You can use the closet to store all other bathroom supplies and not really linens.
