Wow! Thank you for stirring up new insights for me especially of tying Passover and counting the Omer to Yom Kippur. How we try as we might to rectify our soul, Abba, in the end will be the one to complete the rectification on Yom Kippur. During Passover we get the Leaven out and start counting the Omer as we try to improve our spiritual houses by improving our character. However we always seem to find something that creates a stumbling block whether it is some small crumb of leaven or a character trait that we just can’t seem to master and continue to wrestle with. Only by Hashem’s help can we be sanctified; we must have the balance of love and fear of Hashem which come by keeping His Mitzvot and statutes. The keeping of his laws and instructions bring us to new levels of sanctification. Thank you for bringing a new level of understanding to me!❤

Are you counting the omer?? Im new and am told to count an omer. Can i ask you what an omer is and is their rules to follow?? Thank you

If you are a non Jew you do not count the Omer. That is a commandment given only for Jews.

see the short videos from last year, personally I follow Rambam by counting each day with a prayer, and offering sacharit in the morning after moda ani. for advice seek a local rabbi who can help you.

Unauthorized fire. We all have it or have had it. We want to do the extra thing for God while thinking it is good and Holy but we over stepped boundaries, rules, laws, regulations, etc just to get OUR (selfishness) point across to OTHERS versus truly worshiping Yahweh in His Way.
