Hey bio-roxas, I've got a theory about several points in union cross, such as who brain is and who killed marluxia's sister. 1. Who killed star? (can't spell her name at the moment) more than likely Gula just based on the keyblade war story they mentioned that he frequently stops in the building she got killed in, but that's my theory for her. 2. Who is Brain? I think it's Ava, because he says he's a 'virus' but a virus is basically in the context and error in the code, Ava would perfectly fit this as she's supposed to be gone but if she noticed star not answering her calls and probably entering her room, she could have figured out that she disappeared before the war, this would also explain why there's a book in the union leaders base and not 5.

I think I have discovered the truth about Kairi! In birth by sleep her outfit is too clean and prefect for a daughter of a servant. And when we see a flower reef on her head it’s in a same place as a tiara would be. Maybe the fact that Kairi is a princess of heart was actually more literal than we realized? Combining the facts that her outfit as a young girl is more akin to something a princess may wear. And the fact that the flower reef gives an illusion of a tiara. And when aqua meets her Kairi curtsy a sign of royalty. She even does it before aqua leaves. I say Kairi is in fact the true ruler of Radiant garden. That’s right I think Kairi dad is anwsome and a mysterious mother which I say we have seen. It’s Ava. Or the body that Ava is using.

According to some information released during KH3's development (I don't remember what exactly), a lot of the KH-related staff DO watch the community's videos... I think they even have some of them translated for them, but I don't quite remember

A lot of developers actually follow through with this. They don't have to respond to the feedback, but they can silently alter different elements, if the excitement for a game is at its peak and there's a lot of propositions, or expectations for it. Nomura is a man that does encourage theory crafting as a means of bringing the community closer, if I recall correctly(he said something like this in one of those interviews). Not surprised, if he looks at the JP side(which is more or less at the same level as our West theories), but also uses the U.S and Europe branches to gather info.

Final form Xion actually just looks like she’s supposed to be the vague shape and colors of Kingdom Hearts Sora. The two spikes on the side of the head really resemble his hair and the shirt along with pants are consistent with sora

You know, now that I think about it, if Xion is based on Sora's memories of Kairi it wouldn't be too strange if some of those memories were actually Kairi's. Sora has seen at least one memory that Kairi can't remember, so it would make sense that Kairi left some memories behind in his heart when she was in there. I mean, if the reason that Xion absorbed Sora's memories of Kairi was because the chains of memory had been detached by Naminé and drifted away more easily, then maybe Kairi's memories of Hollow Bastion were detached enough to drift away also. I also just really want the story to explore Kairi's history as a heart experiment, and this seems like as good a way to do that as any.

I think Xion's final form is supposed to be based off of Sora from KH1. The jackets matchup near identically, the hair matches up in shape, and the way the shorts are shaped matchup

I'm here for this theory because I have not been able to figure out why we as Roxas see her as a black haired blue eyed girl... even tho she is a replica of Sora... This theory to me makes the most sense as Sora would see Kairi's blue eyes and short hair as the most prominent memories, whereas sleeping Ventus from the age of fairy tales may only remember her dark hair in his distant memories. :D

I vote the hair colour is connected to Ven's memory. But I think the connection stops there. We have no evidence of how Kairi was experimented on at the same time as Subject X, timeline wise. But her grandmother looks more suspicious the more you know. I mean... was she complacent in this? And Lea got caught up in the Sora's Nobodies drama when he realized Roxas looked like Ventus. Before that, his goal is Skuld.

I agree with most accept for kairi being a subject of xehanort. Xehanort didn't interact with any of the subjects until after birth by sleep during the 10 year time skip. Soon after that he became an apprentice to ansem kairi was already walking around with her grandma during that time and when radiant garden fell, she was sent to destiny islands. Given this time frame, there's no way she could have been experimented on by xehanort. Old xehanort couldn't have done it either since Ansem had no reaction to hearing terra say Xehanort meaning that more than likely, he never met the old version. Despite that, kairi doesn't need to be connected to Skuld for this theory to work as Ventus is obviously close to skuld like Sora is to kairi and them projecting this on Xion gives her her appearance. As far as Namine though, I personally think kairi is Ansem the wise's daughter and when Kairi's nobody was created it took on an appearance that highlights this hence why she has blonde hair instead of red.

That's a really great theory, and it'd definitely make the story even more tight-knit by connecting the already "resolved" events to the much more grandiose fate that awaits the other characters. Nomura didn't really mention anything about the conclusion to the story of characters like Roxas, Xion or even Vanitas, so I really hope that there will be more of those connections, and they won't just go on the sidelines to help, but to fight for those still unresolved, individually cases too. I don't really remember, if there was a mention of why people see specific characters within Xion, but maybe the answer is locked behing strong negative emotions directed at the person that people see in her. Xigbar(Luxu) did say "Do you always have to stare at me like I just drowned you a goldfish?" after all. To me it implies that Luxu had some difficulties with Ventus, since it's said as a disdain for persistence in this case. For Xemnas, it's Sora, because of Sora's ideals. Sora's ignorance is expressed through his stubbornes, and we've seen that he didn't exactly care for Nobodies. He treated them as a unnecessary existence, and the journey of KH2 is to understand that Nobodies are esentially just as, if not more, troubled as sombodies. That's the same to say about the need to balance the light and darkness, which was depicted in control of the anti-form(which I believe to be the usage of darkness with the active resistance to not be swallowed by it, based on both Aqua and Sora that is), the Final Form, as well as the Final Xemnas' coat. Axel is a little bit complicated, but his feelings towards Namine were not exactly strongly negative. It was more of a situational dislike, because she was involved with Sora, and therefore Roxas' disappearance. Don't have to explain the rest.

I was going to be upset when I saw that title cause I thought it might be some connection that ruins Xion's character arc by turning her into Skuld herself, but this seems alright and makes some sense. I do really like the idea that Kairi met Skuld and that caused Roxas (through ventus' influence) to see a Kairi with black hair. I don't really see this working much beyond that though. I also wouldn't really like to see Xion be used again in the games beyond that Remind gives us, but that's just me. I always thought that the coat on final form xion was just KH1 Sora's coat. The hair on her matches KH1 Sora's, and I thought the pink color was just the reds from his clothes too, plus that's what makes the most sense story wise.

She starts off positive by gaining an identity and friendship with Roxas and Axel, and the later half of the game is spent breaking her down into what she is at the end. It's a downward spiral type of character arc usually only found in tragedies or horror stories

Evilord of the Internet A fair point, but the issue with your argument is that in order for it to be a downward spiral, she would need to have a high point to spiral down from. Granted its been awhile since I played 358/2, but from what I remember Xion starts as a blank state (which is understandable), gains an identity, then immediately starts acting sad and breaksdown. There wasn't enough of her being positive to make her fall worth anything. Even in the few times she was supposed to act happy she still has a whole "gloomy I'm sad" thing to her, she just doesn't feel like she's anything other than sad, and its not a voice acting thing, I played 358 on a DS with busted speakers and still had that conclusion, its her overall facial expressions and body language. She just kinda goes blank->sad, her time with Roxas didn't feel like a downtrodden girl learning to be happy, it felt like Roxas was talking to one of the emo kids from south park.

Okay, so when people look at Xion: Axel sees the Witch of Memories, Namine. Xigbar sees the Wayward Wind, Ventus. Xemnas sees the King and Hero of Light, Sora. But Roxas sees a fusion of the Queen and (the not-so)Heroine of Light, Kairi and one of the Dandelions of the Fairytale, Skuld/Subject X. Let me theorize as to why for the other three aside the Synch Blade user. For Axel, I guess it's because he gets reminded of Subject X(Skuld) whenever he sees Namine's form. If this might be true, then if Saix would look at her with enough light to see her face, then he might also see something Namine-like. For the sniper's case, it must be their link to the past age(of Fairytales) and how they fought in BBS. Xigbar knew that Ventus was to be the X-Blade, so that must be something in relation to why he sees the Wayward Wind in her. Xemnas, being a Xehanort and Xehanort's Nobody himself, with Xion's link to Sora as his memories gained sentience, that must be the key. It was to be that the light would triumph through the dark in 3, so maybe that's why.

Sora would be a better example of someone who looked at Xion and saw Namine, then Axel. Because Axel only said that Xion looked like Namine and that could be taken the same way as Aqua saying Sora looks like Ven. Whereas we see Sora see Xion as Namine in DDD.

I agree why do Xion and skuld look alike. It makes sense because Lea and Isa made friends with subject X who could be skuld. Maybe Asnem the wise hid Skuld in Kairi’s heart that’s what might’ve happened to subject X. Kairi and Skuld could have meet at some point. Interesting theory, I just want to add one thing. I don't think Axel ever truly saw Xion as Namine. I think he was noting how similar they are due to both looking like Kairi. You can tell because Xion doesn't morph into Namine when in front of Axel, and he can see her with her hood down, same as Roxas. When you befriend Xion or get close to her, you can see her true self.

Vens heart was in Roxas according to the Ultimania so when Xion formed her appearance it would be interesting if she took on the dark hair cuz of that. If Kairi was imprisoned there it would have been after Skuld had allready been freed/kindapped by Luxu. The report from Skuld's own view say that the only peope she had to talk to were Axel and Saix and the report from their point of view, don't make metnion of anyone else being in the cells.

Skuld and Kairi couldn't be in the cells at the same time. Kairi would've had to have been experimented on after Ansem was banished or at least after he himself had stopped the experiments, so Skuld would have already been let go by that time. They wouldn't of had the time to talk. It would be more simpler to say that Ven subconsciously thought that Kairi and Skuld were alike and therefore took a trait from Skuld and gave it to Xion. This wouldn't be that far fetched since Xion comes from memories and Skuld has been stated by Ephemer and the others to be like Ava who often get compared to Kairi by us players. Xion wouldn't get effected by anything Kairi did. At least before Kh3 Kairi and Xion weren't connected directly but through Sora. Also regarding Axel it is never directly shown that Axel sees Xion as Namine only that Xion looks like Namine and that can be taken the same way as Aqua saying Sora looks like Ven. With the exception of Xemnas who makes it pretty clear that he does see Xion as Sora all others have been shown. Also with the exception of when Xion looks like Sora to Roxas all other times both in days and DDD Xion has the persons full outfit on so I don't believe Axel sees Xion as Namine. I am in full belief that Axel has since she took her hood seen Xion like Roxas does with the exception of one cut scene in DDD.

What if Kairi had her darkness removed from her the same way Ventus had his darkness removed from him. And this forceful act of removing the dark was from Kairi made her into a princess of heart, as she would have no darkness in her left over. Which may mean there is a dark Kairi out there.

Hey man, not to contradict you and I can see this theory might have some valid. But Kairi, Xion and Namine looks almost identical, same body structure and face. The only thing that is different is the hair color and hairstyle. (In Namine's case a different voice too). If you put the three of them in a room I bet someone would ask if they're triplets. Of course there is always the argument that people within KH don't pick up on the similarities. As a side note: I have always believed that Ventus and Sora looked extremely similar, if you really focus only on the face and body structure you can tell they are pretty much the same, the only things diferent are the hair style, hair color and voice and voice (Note that Xemnas said to Roxas that he looked a lot like Sora and Roxas looks identelical to Ventus). But again people doesn't noticed this within and outside KH, mostly because we have Roxas and Vanitas that look identical to Sora and Ven respectively. (Well, Vanitas looks Almost exactly like Sora, but you know what I mean). I always wondered why Nomurad used the same based structured both male and female many times over, to reduced time and recycle? or it was always on porpuse? Most likely the later.

Nahhhhhh you guys are definitely reaching, especially on the Final Form Xion thing. Xion’s appearance there is clearly based off of KH1 Sora’s form, you just replace most of the reds with pinks. If anything that form has a closer connection to Limit Form than it does with Skuld (Limit Form has a pinkish aura sometimes and all of the abilities are past moves, most of which Armored Xion displays in the various boss fights). Maybe you were onto something with how her appearance is a melding of Skuld and Kairi and Kairi being a test subject as well, but that whole Final Form Xion thing is where you lost me, that’s just way too far-fetched. You’re gonna hurt your arms with all that reaching you’re doing, lol.
