Record Audio from a Keyboard directly to iPhone camera

Welcome to another video! This video is in respond to some comments
on the previous video about this.
saying that this method does not work,
so i decided to make another video to show exactly how is done
just note that i am using the camera connection kit from apple
and in this video as in the other i am using the YAMAHA PSR-E453 AND i am using an iPhone 8.
in the previous video i used an iPhone SE.

People who say this video is fake and don’t work are either doing it wrong or don’t have the right equipment. Your keyboard must have a built in audio interface. That’s essentially what’s happening the iPhone is using the interface of the keyboard. Secondly you must open the camera app, and just before and only just before pressing play on video then you insert the adapter that’s connecting the keyboard

This doesn’t work for me either the audio does not record direct through the cables it just records the sound like it would if I wasn’t connected directly at all.

I’m walking mu friend through this right now and it works for her but the audio is not loud enough no matter how much she turns up the keyboard volume. Any ideas on how to fix that?

hello, your video is very helpful but i have a huge pain because my digital piano does not have a usb port , what will i use to record my keyboard sound directly on my iphone camera? can i use 1/4 inch line jack to usb cable ?

Doesn't work with me (I've tried it on an iPhone 11 and a range of pianos and keyboards). Is there a setting on the phone that needs to be adjusted? Is there a certain Apple Lightning to USB port you need to use?

Hi, I am sorry to hear that. Actually this video is an updated of another video that I made that people say doesn’t work. I wonder why is that too? It is still working for me right now, even with an older iPhone. I can’t explain why it does not work for some people, there’s not much difference between one iPhone and another. Just keep trying. Apple store or wherever apple products are sold. Must be original apple adapter.

Works the same as if not using the cables. Sounds the same. There a way to turn the microphone off on the ipad/iphone?

same problem no matter using cables iphone uses own microphone btw that plug only works for the connection to computer (hosting slot) how this guy can get sound from that slot really interesting , l already had that equppement l tried but failed

Does the apple lightning to usb have noise cancellation because i bought an imitation and it has popping noise should i buy the orinigal apple lightning to usb?

First make sure is the adapter and not the recording device or audio interface or the usb cable.
