Record-breaking NFL Draft turnout raises concerns about crowd safety

The NFL said Detroit set the all-time Day One NFL Draft record with more than 275,000 fans in attendance on Thursday night. The previous record was set in Nashville in 2018.

Yeah, they closed right as I was near the front of the line. I was pissed. But I would have been even MORE PISSED if I had paid $100 to park my car.

@@golions157 I parked in the New Center area, and took the Q Line down. And then did a ton of walking. 😂 Only to get to the front of the lie and they shut it down.

I'm a football fan and even I don't fully comprehend why people would go down there, just not that exciting as an "event". People looking for something to do, I guess.

Good for Detroit. Does that mean that importing ppl from other cities is the best way to have an event without shots fired announcements on police radios? 😂 Now I’m just kidding. This isn’t a Chiefs SB parade & Cam Sutton’s bond prevents him from leaving Florida so it had to go well.

@@r.williamcomm7693 I couldn’t stand Sutton last year, I’m glad he’s gone tbh! He pissed me off so many games giving up 200 yards a game 2nd half of season.
