I Set My Friends On Fire was such a unique and chaotic force in the scene-I’m glad to see them getting the recognition they deserve in this video! 🎸🔥 It’s crazy how so many incredible bands have gotten screwed over by labels, like The Last of Our Kind being shelved by Mediaskare Records. It’s a shame how often labels prioritize profit over artistry. 😤 Here’s hoping more people start revisiting these underappreciated gems from that era!

This is very strange regarding Epitaph. That’s one of the most respected labels in punk history and were known for treating their artists fairly. This seems like an anomaly, as Brett Gurewitz notoriously gave his roster complete freedom with whatever they turned out. This one seems weird. Especially where the dude from ISMOF says he doesn’t clearly remember it. You can say allegedly all you want, yet you didn’t do that with the title. I call bullshit

first recording contracts are notoriously bad look what happened to TLC and Toni Braxton in the 90s both went bankrupt due to poor money management and bad contracts don't know what Toni's first deal was but both of her first two albums are certified 8x platinum so if she got 70 cents on the dollar per album she would've made 11.2 million on those two albums and when she filed for Bankruptcy the first time in the late 1990s she lived in a 4.2 million dollar mansion in Atlanta which would be worth 8.3 million now. that's like classic/antique cars Vary widely in price depending on condition options mileage etc. for ex there's a 78 Sedan Deville on Hemmings Classic Cars right now for 25,000 just over half the price of what the sticker price would be if the series were revived where as for ex a Seville if revived would cost around 70,000 for the base model it becomes an antique in March the 76 models turn 50 as it was first shown at the New York International Auto show in March 1975
