for The Great Sacandaga Lake, Champlain,st. Lawrence , Ontario, Erie, stewrt's pond are large but more Pike with some having Musky but Cross Lake-Seneca River,Cassadaga Lakes,Otisco Lake,Bear Lake, Conesus Lake,Black Lake,Waneta Lake,Upper Niagara River,Chautauqua Lake,St. Lawrence River holding trophy Pike, musky, tiger musky all in NY state alone.. then known musky areas Muskellunge are found in oligotrophic and mesotrophic lakes and large rivers from northern Michigan, northern Wisconsin, and northern Minnesota through the Great Lakes region, north into Canada, throughout most of the St Lawrence River drainage, and northward throughout the upper Mississippi valley, although the species also extends as far south as Chattanooga in the Tennessee River valley. Also, a small population is found in the Broad River in South Carolina. Several North Georgia reservoirs also have healthy stocked populations of muskie. They are also found in the Red River drainage of the Hudson Bay basin. Muskie were introduced to western Saint John River in the late 1960s and have now spread to many connecting waterways in northern Maine. The Pineview Reservoir in Utah is one of three Utah locations where the hybrid Tiger Muskellunge is found. May not break a record but when the historical Record is so blurry and most likely not even Factual size best to get your trophy Musky on and maybe stumble on a record! Basically how i fish for Pike and Musky ,tiger musky and so on..

Yep, like you learned here, a 18year old fish weighing that much because it was sterile, just think there could be one 40yrs. Old double that in size, remember a fish continues to grow almost to any size if conditions are correct, I bet the new world record will be a sterile fish, probably big enough to bite your head off.

Louis Spray” s fish IS the world record. This guy made a rep by casting doubt on by Cal ,Louis’s, and Art Lawson’s fish. The conversation regarding computed weights is ridiculous! The only way to establish weight is to weight the fish! The rest is pure guess work! For those who question the above check out the stats from the Vilas County musky marathons. Thirty years of record keeping NO fifty pounders. Thousands of fisherman, decades of record keeping few 50” fish! Now everyone has a fifty inches. Read Tony Rizzo on this topic. For what ever its worth: North and SouthTwin lakes ,Phelps Wisconsin has produced two Fifty pounders. Both weighed on certified scales. The last one was just a few years ago. Gin clear, a few miles long, all mid lake structure. This lake will humble you. Be carefully of the weather in smaller boats with 10hp engines or less. one more point this is a real good smallmouth , walleye and pan fish lake. Big boy fishing.

Good video, lots of information. Lot's of bogus fish it seems. What about bogus anglers claiming fish they didn't catch? The Tennessee State record Musky is highly contested and stories abound who the real angler was in question. Steve Paul is the claimed angler where as in many circles the fish was caught by Dylan Gano. Why hasn't Larry Ramsell looked into this record? Is it because the weight was official and all other details are irrelevant? It seems Paul is reaping the rewards of which....isn't fraud for financial gain a felony?

The red drum is our trophy fish. People around here don't even lie about fish that big. It's like the equivalent of a 60 inch musky. Some of the formulas are surprisingly accurate. I love a good fish tail. We need people like Larry Ramsell. Much respect . Excellent video.

Quickly following that was the realization that I didn't actually want it in the boat with me. I was legitimately afraid of it. Thing had a head the size of a watermelon and teeth like a crocodile. I won't remark on how big I estimate it to have been other than to say that Larry would have needed to add a new chapter to his book if I had by some miracle managed to catch it.
