took a little trip to some record stores in Palm Springs, accidentally went on Coachella weekend, thankfully I was able to find some records before the real "influencers" showed up. :)

Thank you! It’s been raining a lot here lately so it was great to get out while the sun was shinning. Yes I was just thinking of record store day and what time I should try and make it out, last year those who got the record they wanted were in line by 5am, I try to go to smaller record stops that won’t have a big crowd. We’ll see if I’m able to make it out 😃

ALOHA MONIEMUSE, WOW ! That's awesome you got to go to Palm Springs not only to spend some time with your hubby Gus, but also record shopping. McCartney's a keeper, if I'm not mistaken, Linda Ronstadt did 3 record albums with an Orchestra. That Everly Brothers ,A date with the Everly Brothers had (2) American Covers, one of them was a gatefold with a different front cover with the inside being the picture of the cover you got. Always enjoyed watching your Videos. That Fleetwood Mac album is a classic, if you haven't heard it yet take a listen on KZbin, to see if you enjoy that era of Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac started out as a English Blues band, it was called Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. Saw dis on Wikipedia. Primarily a British blues band in their early years, Fleetwood Mac achieved a UK number one single in 1968 with the instrumental "Albatross",[7] and had other UK top ten hits with "Man of the World", "Oh Well" (both 1969), and "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" (1970). After Green's departure, Spencer and Kirwan also left in 1971 and 1972 respectively, with Spencer replaced by Bob Welch and Kirwan replaced by Bob Weston and Dave Walker. By the end of 1974, Weston and Walker had been dismissed and Welch had left, leaving the band without a guitarist or male vocalist. While Fleetwood was scouting studios in Los Angeles, he heard the American folk-rock duo Buckingham Nicks, consisting of guitarist and singer Lindsey Buckingham and singer Stevie Nicks. In December 1974, he asked Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac, with Buckingham agreeing on the condition that Nicks could also join. The addition of Buckingham and Nicks gave the band a more pop rock sound and their 1975 album Fleetwood Mac topped the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. The band's succeeding album Rumours (1977) produced four U.S. Top 10 singles and remained at number one on the Billboard 200 for 31 weeks. It also reached the top spot in countries around the world and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1978. Rumours has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums in history. Mahalo Ed

I love the afternoon(?) light you get through that window and the shadows of the leaves on the walls. Nice mood for listening to music.

Right! I saw the beautiful sunlight coming in the window and knew it was a nice time to hang out in the record room. The lighting creates such a sweet mood

Hey Monie, finding anything Beatles related is worth celebrating - but McCartney I in the 'wild' is seriously impressive. I certainly don't see it around very often. Great to see you picked up another Linda album too - I was similarly fortunate just a week ago - random browsing and scored a copy of 'Prisoner in Disguise'. You can't go wrong with any album she does.

Thank you, yeah I was surprised myself to find the Paul McCartney and on sale too, yeah Linda has so many albums, glad to have a few.

Mccartney is such a great album, I don't have it on vinyl but I'm gonna listen to the CD right now :) I really like I Wonder off that Rosanne Cash album - The Everly Brothers though, solid choice, and must be awesome played on a turntable. I'm from Denmark but I sometimes visit family in LA so maybe next time I'll check out Palm Springs, looks beautiful, and honestly as long as there are record shops I'll go ;) Love the videos

I found a Bryan Adams EP from 1985 with the song Diana on it. The only way it was released was on this EP. It was recorded at the same time as Reckless but was not included on the record or anywhere else since. I found it at a store here in the Vancouver area called Redrum Records. Great to find something I’ve been looking for all these years. It has an online store. Thanks for the video.

That’s so cool! I’ve visited Vancouver a while back and they had some awesome record stores there! I remember bringing home Bob Dylan’s, like a rolling stone album. Oh and I loved the food too!! Gotta go back and visit again.

Glad you and Gus had a nice trip. Great McCartney record. My favorite Mexican restaurant is Casa VCS. I’m never disappointed there 😂.

😂 quality over quantity , there was one record store that had no cameras or drinks allowed so I couldn’t check it out.

Is that the same road Richard Gere took in a classic year of that movie American Giggolo? where are your coomentors from California or all over the world? You couldn't find any cd's because you couldn't what your looking for or you couldn't find any cd's because they have a small selection? nice out door seating? any restaurants that had outside eating that were american or italian? I want a cheeseburger now? other than that one shop of the other shops do they sell cassettes and cd's? nice Linda Ronstadt and Paul Mccartney ,

The record stores didn’t have a big cd section, in their stores. I like how cheap the cds can be. I’m a sucker for outdoor dining, I liked the scene but wanted more authentic Mexican food 😁
