Hey Morten, great to see some of Oslo. That record shop looked stacked! I love the High Fidelity book, movie and soundtrack. Even the tv series was not bad. I plan to read the book again cause it’s been a while. The soundtrack is perfect 👌 as is Iben Hjejle ❤ Great video pa!

@@TheVinylVoyage-ud3uf Yes she is 😍 She's been in a couple of Danish series, Anna Pihl were she played the friend of the titular policewoman and the crime show Dicte which may be available on your Netflix. Big Dipper is a great shop and our only proper vinyl store. There's only two alternative, Platekompaniet, the sole survivor of the multimedia chain stores (and only place left where you can buy new CD's) and Råkk og Rålls the excellent second hand record store. I wouldn't have gone for The Doors live, either. I don't have any stores near me that participate in RSD, and so I like watching these videos. It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I remember loving High Fidelity! Glad you got the record, Morton!

@@MarkMorris-1962 Yeah, seemed a bit more like a chore than a joy. Wonder where MY nearest other RSD place is? I know there’s a great record store in Bergen (across the country and the mountains), Gothenburg in Sweden? Hm… High Fidelity is the best. Best and worst of memories. Thank you Mork!

@@neilbower9052 Thanks 😊 Yeah, there's a lot... Specially from those bands that are no longer around but also Get Yer Ya Ya's Out? Again! It's almost so you start disliking the classics. Wish we could get Alice in Chains Tripod allready. And not a lot but maybe more out of prints 7" at humane prives or all those singles you miss because they were releaed on singel CD's and Cassettes and such sillyness making it impossible to conplete that Depeche Mode, McCartney or INXS collection you got going.

I skipped RSD and went Punkmuseum and found myself in picture there. Feel like winner and offially now old enough for museum!. High Fidelity is a great book and fun movie, but remember the music (as usual).

Hi Morten!!!! Well done and glad to see you got some of the records on your RSD list, at least you still have one shop that participates in the event. I agree a four disc live album would be a drag getting put so many times to flip the disc. I think U2 needs a proper rock album to gain some of their muisc "credibility" back, nice to see some jazz and recorded in Norway!!! Always a great feeling getting your N°1 item on your list..... yeah, that movie was really fun to watch. cheers and be well

Hey Morten. The record stores in Victoria don’t participate in RSD so that takes the temptation away 😁😁. Always enjoy seeing what people pick up. The Bill Evans estate has done very well seeing that a Evans release is guaranteed every RSD. Glad you found some of your wants. Cheers.

Wonderful travelogue as always. Gotta say how disappointed I am that U2 is not releasing How To Re-assemble on CD except in that massive boxset. Frustrating to me. Perhaps down the line they'll reissue it that way. The vinyl does look great by the way. High Fidelity is also one of my all time favorite movies. Funny one of the only times I read a book after seeing the movie....doesn't work as well....lol. Gotta read the book first. Another beauty of an album.

Nice clean trams. I didn't get anything and actually not even sure if stores had any of these. I laughed when you called yourself a galah with the onscreen set. I spared you the lengthy explanation as to why I watched High Fidelity 6-7 times in Sydney. Only regret? Nothing really, I wish WAR wasn’t so expensive, and there, and that Thievery Corporation had made it to Norway. Also I hear Helmet was cool.

I went grocery shopping instead! I am a casual U2 fan, but obviously didn't need that one. I've never heard the original. High Fidelity does appeal to me 🙂

I am so happy about the High Fidelity and for you taking time to watch my video. My plans to go out again after ended with under chilled rain and now ots also dark (4 PM). Brrr... 🥶

I'm glad you managed to get a few records. Not a big fan of U2. Saw them touring their first album and was really disappointed. Nice Bill Evans album and High Fidelity.
