why did you choose mov instead of mkv and remux? That way I lose all my recorded audio if my system crashes while recording. Another question: why do you change the bitrate to 100Kbps, is this setting related to audio quality or video?

@@airmeithmassageceupgrade9817 no I didn't get a reply. My husband and I worked with our editor on a solution and it might not be the best one but it works for us. We each have a mic hooked up to our own audacity on separate laptops and record that way.

@@ownyourlifepodcast9888 Thanks! I found a way to get audacity to accept the ffmg file. So I am still using OSB and it's worked well since sometimes we need 3 mics. This is two complicated. Just use Voicemeter banana.

yes, voicemeeter banana is great too and I agree that it's likely to be less complicated/less overall effort and better for people who only use voicemeeter banana for the dual mic recording rather than all the time. I personally don't like messing with its setup though, because all of my audio depends on it. This OBS solution is less destructive. But I really should give it a try.
