Some mixers that split audio for you (like the Aviom A360) only require you to use a stereo/aux cable into the iRig instead of using an audio splitter. It has ports for both the in-ear cable and another stereo out cable. Pretty nice!
@Theryanprim Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s nice that they have two separate ports now for both an aux cable and a headphone cable!

@@Theryanprimhave you ever used the Original IRig Pro Version? That’s exactly what I have
@Cbat1249 ай бұрын
What if the Allan and Heath ME1 already has a 1/4” out in addition to the 1/8” jack that works simultaneously. Do you still need that splitter?
@Theryanprim8 ай бұрын
I prefer the splitter because if you don’t the gain is hard to control on the irig duo The splitter somehow gives you more freedom when it’s plugged in on both sides

Hey Ryan! Which iRig would you recommend for recording IEM for iPhone 16? I currently have the iRig 2 multimedia portable but ever since i upgraded my phone to the iPhone 16, it is not recording my IEM anymore. It is just like a humming sound now. So was wondering if you had any advice on this.
@angelpaez20162 ай бұрын
hi there! I just bought this but I'm having problems with fazing from both channels to my ears. both gains are at almost the same point but all I get is a lot of distortion. I think for what I was doing I bypassed the splitter. Would this help with that problem? I just had the breakout cable running into the board with a quarter inch adapter since we were using wedges

Just curious , but does this irig work with android ? Ive been trying to figure out how to record on my gopro and synce with the audio. I have an Alesis strike pro , easy drummer 3 , focusrite scarlett and a Mix5 mixer. From the Mixer i have a spliter (L,R) that connects to my Android or Chromebook to play drumless tracks on KZbin. I cant play a track and record at the same time . Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you .

Is there a way to take out the click in the mix?
@Theryanprim7 ай бұрын
Yes, you would just have to record from a different in ear mix, so if you have a spare wireless pack, or a spare Behringer P6, you can make your mix just like how you’re in your mixes, and then record off of that in your mix (just remove whatever you don’t want). But as far as taking click out of your individual mix, whatever you are listening to is what is going to be recorded into your phone

Maybe a dumb question, but does this allow you to record the in-ear mix audio directly to an iphone video? In other words, will I need some sort of DAW or software to send the audio into or will I be able to record the in-ear mix directly into a video I can save on my phone and upload or share with the in-ear mix as the audio?
@Theryanprim6 күн бұрын
That’s exactly correct! That’s the whole point. It automatically lines up audio and video for you.

Hi, great video. Just a question. Would using the headphone output on the iRig device for monitoring work in place of using a splitter at the input? What would be the difference?
@Theryanprim Жыл бұрын
That’s correct you can use the headphone output as well. It all comes down to your preference The only difference is when you use a splitter and you have your ears plugged into one side and then have the irig plugged into the other it allows for more flexibility on the gain level The splitting of the headphone reduces the overall gain that’s sent to the irig

Prim! Question about this! I am considering getting one. Does it only run on batteries or how does the power work? I currently have an iRig 2 and it works without any additional power source. Is this one different? This video has been super helpful!

It runs off two double AA batteries 🔋 If you record your in ear mix into your MacBook it doesn’t need the batteries

Record directly into your computer using the USB C cable that comes with it, and then line up your audio and video in post. I use ableton and it’s pretty easy overall

Heyy bro!! I have a question So…I don’t have the IRigPro DUO but I do have the new IRig pro I/O which I Guess Records in Mono so I was wondering on how You Record in Mono with that particular Device and I was Also Asking if you ever Used that particular Device Befor Or Not? Let me go Bro.
@Theryanprim6 ай бұрын
I have a similar video to this one that shows you how I record with my irig 2 and that records in Mono, if you follow those directions on that video that should show you how to do it. Also, I’m sure the rig pro is awesome as well. I’ve never used it before.

I was gonna use it today but I was Nervous that I was Gonna Hook it up the Wrong way Especially Hooking it Up last minute and making sure that it’s gonna work 100% because I Originally Shoot my Videos with my GoPro and I plug my GoPro Adapter into my GoPro then Plug my Headphone Cable into the Adapter then the Other End of that Cable into Our Me1 in Ear system which works Perfectly but I REALLY wanna Try my IRigPro for the first time at church.

Thank you for this video! If my setup is two microphones at the same time (Mic for guitar, another Mic for the singer, for instance), and I'm filming video with my iPhone - will the recorded video be in Stereo?
@Theryanprim Жыл бұрын
When doing it that way the XLR is just a regular mono mic in So it would split them separate

But when you transfer it to another device, let’s say you want to edit the video, for instance. The audio file of the video is in stereo? Thanks!!!

I just finished recording a quick sample test video using the iRig Pro Duo IO with my built in iPhone camera app. I used one input for AG and the other for vocal. Went back and listened and one was panned hard right and the other was panned hard left. Is this the case for you? Will it do this when I record a full stereo in ear mix as well? I recognize I may have to use the app iRig Recorder and select how I want my tracks recorded (summed mono, stereo, etc) is this what you do to record your audio into your phone using the iRig Pro Duo?
@Theryanprim Жыл бұрын
It splits it up if you use both channels and makes them mono. So when I record my IEM mix I use both channels so it’s a stereo result
