Arwen, The Kung Olive has an amazing sound. Seems like it uses a lot of air. I love that Bouree from J S Bach. I think for guitar it is written in E minor, use to play on guitar. All very nice sounding I think my favorite is the Kung Olive.

Interesting that you consider having to close 2 keys most frequently the „right way“ vs. 1 key the „wrong way“. I am just looking on effort required in frequency. As bottom c# is comparatively rare vs. bottom c and f I would give this the less effort way and keep the c# hole closed by default. Yes it contradicts the logic of double holes in shorter recorders, but so what? My old Moeck Tuju Tenor still has the default-closed c#, my new Moeck Ehlert modern Tenor does not, nor my Mollenhauer and Aulos- and I loath the effort of always operating 2 keys, which makes it also noisier if I would just release the keys. Sound-wise I like all of your presented 3 Tenors, and I appreciate a big tessitura on Tenors as it gets not as shrill as might be on a Soprano.

Well, it is the same way around as when there are no keys which is logical and I like that logic but mainly it is my short little finger struggling. I have to have the pair of keys quite far the the right in order to work both C and C# effectively. This means whichever key is on the right of the pair is quite far to the right and I don't mind that occasionally for C# but to have to have my little finger that far to the right for C and F is annoying for me and feels wrong. So the effort is the opposite way around for me. I'm glad you like all 3 recorders.
