Somehow this random school project manages to be the best explanation of woodwind acoustics I've seen on KZbin!

I have 0 understanding in the technical physical notation and explanation, but the visual aids benefited greatly, allowing a rough understanding of the topic. Greatly appreciated. :)

Thank you! This was a high school project so the goal was to explain everything in a very clear way that was easy to understand.

Mate, thank you so much. I've been looking for a video about this for 2 days, and you were my salvation. The animations are perfect, and the information was really useful. Again, thank you a lot for bringing this knowledge to me. :D

@@stevatakovac4785 This was actually a project for my final year of high school, we had to take one of the main topics from the year and relate it to a real world thing. We also got to choose how to convey the info (essay, poster, video, etc) It took me about a week straight during study break doing basically nothing but work on it, so it makes me really happy it's useful to other people, thank you for taking the time to comment it really made my day :D

Great explanation of the physics of the recorder - but something is wrong with the sound volume - had to turn up the sound to max on my computer, and then could barely hear you - I wanted to hear everything you had to sy ... but very difficult :( ... then the next video came up and almost blew out my speakers before I could quickly turn down the sound again ... Pls correct on your end so I can hear your video with so much great info ...

Great visuals and explanations! I'm so impressed by your thoroughness in relating so many aspects of playing to physics; usually many don't bother to go into the physics of actual instrument design or playing techniques. Please increase the volume next time though! I'm also not sure if this is just me but I could only hear the video from one earbud.

Thank you so much! This video was a project for a high school physics class so I don't think I'll do any similar videos. It's kind of ironic I messed up the sound mixing on a video of this topic, but I vaguely remember realizing this after submitting my work, so I didn't want to change it in case my editing after the fact would change my grade :3

@seakhajiit3 жыл бұрын
The assignment was to "Demonstrate understanding of the application of physics to a selected context" and I achieved it with Excellence (basically top marks). The grading system goes; Not Achieved, Achieved, Merit, Excellence Way more work than I needed to do for 3 credits (most people just made posters;;) but I'm still getting comments years later so it was worth it. Sorry it took me so long to reply!
