In case of U22 XT, the RCA connectors are chrome plated. Please note that this is not the same for all of our other products.

Hm... Do you have this issue when you listen to your voice directly through direct monitoring on your headphones or is the mistake on the record? Have you tried lowering the input level? (On the hardware side and / or in the software)
