Recording Drums 3 Ways with the DPA DDK4000 Microphone Kit

We spent a day filming with AT reviewer and live engineer Mark Woods as he used mics from the DPA DDK4000 Drum Mic Kit to record a beautiful DW drum kit in three different configurations. Behind the kit is former Men at Work drummer, Jerry Speiser, and running the recording system is Matt Underwood, owner of Studio U in Harcourt, Victoria where filming took place.

Love to see it. I did a few weeks interning with Mark over 30 years ago when I was a teenager and he ran Sing Sing. My lasting memory of him was being very generous with his time and his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge with a precious young turk who nuthin' about nuthin'.
