At first I was just thinking, are you kidding me?! Devin's already finished drums on a new project?! How are there enough hours in a day to accommodate the amount of work this man puts out? Once the shock wore off, the glorious anticipation set in, the kind I only get with artists like Devin, when I know I can expect the unexpected and that the music will meet or, more than likely, exceed my expectations. And then...I...I couldn't believe my eyes... I thought... this is impossible....this is the last thing i expected....it can't be real...have I died and actually gone to heaven?...is that...Is that Mike Keneally? The MIKE KENEALLY?!? In the studio with DEVIN?!? Two of the greatest, quirkiest, most creatively brilliant musical minds in all of North America...together...in a studio?!? That might be the best idea I've ever heard. Whoever came up with it and made it happen is a genius, or at least very smart. I'm assuming this is Devin's baby and I know it'll be different and amazing, but the thought of what Keneally could do with a vocalist with Devin's power, range and emotive scope is just...it's too much to bear. I'm not even sure it would be legal in most countries.
