I’ve probably listened to recordings of him singing and playing guitar more than any other human on this planet. His music is branded into me. He was a stylist and a legend in my book.

I been trhinking about getting one for the past week. And may pull the trigger this week! Good to see a youngster like you picking like you do! Yup, gonna pull that trigger!

☑️ sweet guitar and picking young man ; ordered myself the RO-342 OM model just the other day , seems an almost unbelievable value for the going price ‼️ ☻️😎😊

Great video. And all solid wood too, no plywoods in these guitars. I have the less fancy RD-328, and it sounds great. 30-year-old. Adirondack Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides, all solid wood. I've put out several videos on mine too, following how it aged over the year and a half since I purchase it. Bottom line is this, if you want a Martin but can't afford one right now, check out Recording King.

Sounds awesome! What size bridge pins did you get?

That sounds great! What size bridge pins does RK use? For example GraphTech site has two sizes and degrees. I have a dreadnaught on the way and was also thinking of upgrading the pins.

Pretty much a copy of one

@@JohnnyRebKy Very wrong. Albeit at a glance they seem similar, and both share the same back and side wood(E.I. Rosewood), there are a few notable differences. TOP WOOD: RD-342: Adirondack Spruce -> HD-28: Sitka Spruce BRACING RD-342: Standard X-Shape (not sure if scalloped or not, but most likely scalloped) -> HD-28: Forward Shifted Scalloped X NECK SHAPE RD-342: Low V-shape -> H-28: Modified Low Oval There are other differences, but less significant, such as the fretboard inlays, headstock overlays and/or inlays etc. But those are just the cosmetic, "bling" aspects.

Pretty much the same as long as you can't play without an compressor pedal on all the time..

Not 1 available in new Jersey. I had to drive to Brooklyn N.Y. to buy my 318 a few weeks ago.
