Thanks for making this video. It was really cool to see your process! I need new belts for my MT100 and my MT400 is missing the door but otherwise works. Funny to me that we have some of the same gear, although yours are in better shape. You've motivated me to order parts to get my MT100 working again. Honestly, I might "cheat" and use a digital multitrack until I get my second tape machine fixed. I also don't have a Volca Keys but I have a Volca FM and a guitar and one of those steel tongue drums. So I feel like I can experiment with ambient. Maybe with practice I can sound as good as you. ;-)

Go for it. The minimal set-ups are the best for drawing out creativity. I always work better, with a handful of Sound sources.

I liked the version without reverb more. I have always preferred raw oscillators more, it brings up the emphasis on composition, reverb just blurs it out.

Thanks for your feedback. In this case I think I agree with you, after listening to it again: the cassette version has some row magic that gets lost with digital reverb
