Alcotron is another cheap alternative for anyone who don't have the money for the kaotica. I would advise to get your room treated instead but if you cant afford that this is an alternative. All of these color the audio a little bit though

Alctron is trash lol it’s just cheap. You pay for what you get and people will always have their preferences. All that room treatment stuff is expensive if you’re really treating your room for mixing and recording and you’re suggesting people by a $30 fake eyeball ? Everything you do affects a vocal in some type of way you know ? People voices perform differently on different microphones and their voices overall play a part in everything so people ya’ll be aware of that too. It really doesn’t matter about the gear just get what you prefer honestly, Sky channel if you’re new here is about showing how you create with pretty much anything. He pretty much uses everything. Plus he’s one of the few people on KZbin that’s actually worked in professional studios and has a degree from full sail

The iconic mars comet is a foam piece of SHIT!! I noticed on a few youtube videos about this crap, the people are ALREADY in a quiet studio environment. So i bought this shit and put it in my bedroom with a brand new sterling sp150 microphone.I recorded a commercial voice over and i hear the dead ass 9 volt battery chirps of my old smoke alarms that are about 20 feet away!!!! And I hear cars passing by on the damn street and I live on the SECOND FLOOR in my building! This is a $99 piece of bullshit!!!
