This ones fun. I love recording drums and using all the tools available to make them sound as good as possible. In this video I go through how to make your own drum samples, and explain why you should every-time. There is so much more you can do come mix time just having taken that extra 5 minutes to record those hits.
In this video I show my method of preparing the samples from cuting the files up, selecting your hits, and creating custom TCI or trigger files to use in your own DAW. Its the easiest thing in the world to do if you have a bit of patience.
