for a mono speaker for around $50 this sounds pretty dang good, better than most suitcase players and with the sound quality of the direct feed you can pair this wiith some nice powered speakers and this is a winner at this price in my book.

Imagine how it'd sound with a better cartridge (properly counter-weighted) and some fiberglass put inside to reduce resonance.

The looks remind me of my Close -N- Play record player when I was a child. Then I graduated up to a Stereo General Electric fold down plastic suitcase type model. I bought two old used metal drive-in speakers from the local drive-in theater when they updated with all new speakers. I spliced those in on each side of the Left and Right mounted side speakers. LOL Better sound separation! 🙄

Selling their own records, I wonder. May I suggest buy and try a couple. Reason is if they are their own they may have their own equalisation curve to make their players sound better. I have found Neil Diamonds " La Bamba" proved to be an issue for an old turntable I had. It just couldn't play it.

i’ve had this record player for over a year and the motor or smth in it slowly got slower overtime ☹️ it sounded amazing but not worth it in the end

Interesting. I don't like the speaker being almost beneath the record. Maybe it wouldn't get loud enough for feedback to be an issue?

I bought records through them but they go trhough USPS. at least in my case. Everything works.

You know for the price I would buy one I don't know what I'd do with it but I would buy it. As you know I have a lot of 45s and that to me would be more convenient to play my 45s on then the crosley that I have cuz sometimes I just want to play the records without hooking everything all up to now several speakers and whatever so yeah I like this one thank you
