Oh my God, it's like you're inside a moroccan palace architecture, mosaics, arches and moorish star shape. everything is as if you were in morocco. in fact, it is a wonderful palace that is well worth a visit

Nice to see that there's been some renovation of this truly interesting property. My wife and I hiked up to the castle and walked the grounds, back in 2015. It was in very sad condition and looking a bit unloved. Who owns the property at this point, and is there any intention to open it up to the public? It'd be great to see the inside...

The situation is very complicated and unclear. Efforts to sell did not get any success. They are trying to sell it to the government or, at least, make the government pay for the basic renovation. There is no ground for optimism... (sigh)

Did not care for the way it was filmed don't know if a fisheye lens was used it distorted the brilliance of viewing the rooms. It is a historic place the government should fund it its a museum tours should generate fund towards up keep and preservation. One room alone could house an event center.

It is a fantastic creation, another one by a super wealthy human with nothing more purposeful to do with his life than construct something for others to marvel at ! Yes it's a marvel, the artistry is beautiful but the originator is long gone, and now the world has to decide what to DO with this. There are far too many of these places, and while I am not saying they should be taken down, I do think a rule to stop ever more of these giant places being built might be a good idea ! I find a house with 3 bedrooms way too big when I'm in it by myself, so how on earth does anyone live in something like this - totally ridiculous - all done to show off - that's the truth !
