The exterior and interior shots of the castle made this medieval history lover want to cry. I stayed in the Fiesole hills the last time I was in Florence and it is a stunning area . Ask any child to draw a castle and they will draw for you! I loved the first reception room with the exposed bricks, high ceilings with the massive windows. Nice drone work and presentation Danilo !!!

Such a spetacular Castle! This is a perfect place for anyne who is able. to afford such a stately Castle and even home if they shoujld desire. The ability to have privacy when needed. and Yet know weddings are taking place around you and you hav a part of making them come true wold be quite exciting! Giving tours, would just be such fun, and alhough impossible to show everything, you would be able to get enough in and of course the history, to help people feel they have enjoyed seeing one of the most exciting and fasntastic castles Italy could contain! Perhaps they will want to return for a wedding or another special occassion at a later date!? The frescoes themselves are just so intringuing, when you think of thsoe who needed to paint them and as they are so large the climbing to the height of the painting that in thier great artistic talents, would completee and maze so many for so long! Hard to imagine! It is astonishing . So much to see! All the land, incuding is incredible as well and verywell kept up I may add. To think you may add your own touch to the various areas and keep it in the theme of the history, but yet make it even more lovely than it is now * (If at at all possible?) Not over doing it, but making it just a little more intriguing for everyone living there *meaning owners and thier famiy, * pretending it is me., at this moment, LOL* or visiting, and those taking time to stay for a short period of time! Daniilo thank you so much for showing he best of the best in Italy.! These are some of the finest am sure! Am so proud of Italy when I see such fine Castles and other Villas that are in the Italy some of my own family have been part of for so many years. My grandfather thought a new life was much better here in the U.S.A. perhaps, and yet look what he left behind!?

What a wonderful surprise to stumble across this today!! We were married here 13 October 2018. I think we were the last wedding at the castle before it closed. I like it because of its views of and proximity to Florence and its large acreage. If one could spot people or cars in the city of Florence from the castle with the naked-eye, then it would be just like having a place in Florence without some of the noise of the city. I'm neither a lover of history nor of castles or courtyards, but, perhaps, some of the courtyards could be merged into the structure for larger entertaining rooms to transform the property into a boutique hotel, and the area around it landscaped into large entertaining lawns and gardens. If the compound could also be equipped with a pool, a tennis court, and a soccer-field, it could also turn interesting for me and my children. The forest or the woodland could perhaps be transformed into trails for romantic walks and outdoor events. If this area produces real good wines, then that could also be a profitable side-business. I'd buy it for the views of and proximity to Florence and its potential as a successful business to generate enough revenue for, at least, its own upkeep. I wouldn't mind living in it with my family, provided I could transform into a profitable boutique hotel, recreational complex, event avenue, and a winery.

It is unbelievable that a historic castle is being sold. It makes me cry that the state can't take care of such gems and turn it into a museum for the public. If only it could be moved to Hungary, where historical monuments are valued. Incredible historic Gothic castle for sale. I only watch your videos because of the beautiful Italian architecture. I would send archaeologists there right away. The interior is still beautifully preserved.

'If only it could be moved to Hungary' - I think the correct phrase should be simpler - 'where historical monuments are fewer'. I don't want to say that Hungary isn't beautiful, but it's a whole different ballgame. A state could always do better, but Vincigliano is a gem among other gems, and sometimes it's right that there is the possibility of commercially exploiting certain places, which, if they were public, could hardly be used for wedding parties. And don't forget that conservation rules in Italy are very strict even for private historic properties. Does Vincigliano look not valued?

Umm, this castle isn't a "monument", it's a private property, of course the owners can sell it if they wish. And even though it's a private property, the owners are still subjected to a whole lot of state regulations - e.g. they can't tear it down. There is really nothing to be worried about. Historical buildings are valued in Italy as well. They are one of the reasons millions of tourists come to Italy every year.
